Things in the world seem to be in turmoil. Change has been a constant companion throughout human history. Change is happening today, just as it will tomorrow. But a few years ago, the pace of change accelerated significantly, and very noticeably so. One only needs to look beyond the horizon to clearly see that these current upheavals are not a local, but a global phenomenon. This raises questions about the why, the wherefore, and, above all, the wherefore.
Here the Gospel, the Word of God, although this book has long been unjustifiably declared irrelevant, provides all the necessary answers to the questions of why the world is the way it is today.
The Bible explains the origin of all things, the path traveled so far, and also the goal we are aiming for. Today, humanity is faced with countless new and relative “truths.” Once we lose our bearings, many hopes simply vanish. The only true path, however, is contained in the “ancient” gospel. The “good news (of victory)” is the rock in the surf in an increasingly crazy, unhinged world. Those who have recognized what truly lies behind the ongoing and ever-accelerating changes can face them all with serenity and, above all, confidence.
My day is filled with drawing board and planning tasks: designing, calculating, researching, and informing. Sometimes things are as “burning” as my eyes, but in such a case, the day’s priorities simply need to be reorganized. The occasions for this are increasing. But it all remains exciting, as the prophecies found in the Bible are confirmed for our time almost daily.
