People are inundated with news from all over the world about ongoing, re-emerging, and escalating wars and hotbeds of unrest. Add to that the constant barrage of an impending climate apocalypse. Fear, anxiety, and paralysis are spreading. An ideal precondition for impending changes, which people are embracing with open arms.

Clouded by fear
The media is filled with reports of wars, natural disasters, unrest, rebellions, crimes, and other events that increasingly make people want to board up their windows and doors and draw their blinds. Added to this is a growing dissatisfaction with the local government style, its political decisions, and the regularly resulting shrinking household budgets. A latent atmosphere of uncertainty and even fear sets in. A constant fear, even if it isn’t necessarily conscious, has a paralyzing effect, weighs heavily on one’s mind, and ultimately leads to health problems. Serious consequences can arise if wrong decisions are made within this stressful environment.
“A scoundrel” is anyone who suspects that this could even be intentional. For those cornered and without escape will want to gratefully accept the offered helping hand. Even though he is clouded by persistent fear, he is hardly able to properly assess reality, let alone recognize the supposedly saving hand as the actual looming trapdoor.
Oppressive circumstances are announced

Jesus Christ not only predicted these adverse developments, but also emphasized them. The importance of these descriptions of the conditions at the end of time is further demonstrated by the fact that the so-called Sermon on the Mount of Olives is recited three times in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and Mark. Here, the principle of at least two or three witnesses, who are required for judgment, applies. For example, in Deuteronomy 17:6 and especially Deuteronomy 19:15:
“One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.“
Jesus’ core statements
Matthew 24:6-8:
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.“
Luke 21:9-11:
“But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”
Mark 13:7-8:
“And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.“
“It has to happen this way”
The phrase “do not be afraid, for this must happen” is the most important one found in all three Gospels. These distressing circumstances can certainly be seen as a necessary program. This also demonstrates that God does not have to watch helplessly with his hands over his face, but rather has full control over these developments. This requires understanding that, within this framework, God primarily wants to demonstrate His own justice by allowing the watching world (1 Corinthians 4:9) to witness the participation and decisions of every single person. Ultimately, this is also intended to prove that the judgments God makes about humanity are absolutely just.
This applies to every individual. Revelation 20:12 describes this final decision for those who are already considered lost, because they either were not resurrected or were left behind at Jesus’ return. A kingdom of peace on earth after Jesus’ return does not exist; it is a fantasy story. (Info).
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.“
Young people already “conditioned”

The future of societies in this world has naturally always rested with their offspring. The rising generation determined the fate of the near future. As history shows, this was always linked to a downward spiral of degeneration. Historically, the average (survival) lifespan of a society before drastic changes or upheavals occurred was just under 240 years. (Info).
Today’s youth, of all people, are particularly burdened by the growing prospects of war. Fear of war in Europe is widespread among young people, as the President of the Synod of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), Anna-Nicole Heinrich, warned. (Source). However, anyone who believes that the church organization, which still claims to be Christian and stands on the foundation of the Gospel, will resort to the Good News to alleviate fears will be disappointed. It focuses on educational events on the topics of “War and Peace from a Young Perspective” and “Flight and Migration.”
The Bible on unnecessary fear

Apparently, these once Protestant churches (Info), which have long since distanced themselves from the gospel, are far from seeking to allay all people’s fears with the help of Scripture. Let alone lead people to the gospel and thus to true, healing faith. The Word of God, as it is written, knows about people’s fears in this disastrous world, especially at the end of time.
An excerpt from biblical references
Psalm 112:8:
“His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.“
1 John 4:18:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.“
2 Timothy 1:7:
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.“
Philippians 1:28:
“And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.“
Exodus 14:14:
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.“
Stay alert
Constant fear paralyzes, leads to withdrawal, and one essentially adopts a supposedly protective, crouching posture. At some point, a process of repression even sets in, and the person resists reality. However, especially in times of persistent, even increasing unrest and the associated uncertainties, it is extremely important to observe the course of events with a keen, sober mind. And ideally, to recognize what one observes based on biblical prophecies, because:
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luke 21:28
