Pope sought recognition as honorary head – ecumenical cosmetics

The Vatican’s eagerly awaited statement on the future role of the primate within ecumenism has been published. “The Bishop of Rome,” is the simple-sounding title of the letter. With the Pope’s “honorary head” formulated therein, it is only a work of superficial cosmetics.

The document announced by the Vatican, in which the primacy of the head of the Roman Catholic Church should receive a “reassessment” in the context of ecumenism, has now been published.

The enthusiasm seems to be limited in the ranks of the once Protestant churches in Germany. At least this is apparently the case. The letter could set the further direction of the ecumenical dialogue, according to the “Catholic speaker” of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany, Johannes Dieckow (Source).

The question arises as to how far the Pope can be recognized as the spokesman for all Christians. If the Pope acted in an “ecumenical dimension,” it would be necessary to waive essential parts of his claims. The biggest sticking point is the claim to infallibility formulated in the First Vatican Council (Info)

“Bishop of Rome” should receive emphasis

The main title of the Vatican exhortation is “The Bishop of Rome” (Source – pdf). This makes it clear what primary position the head of the Roman Catholic Church actually holds. It would have been a surprise if the Pope had weakened, let alone withdrawn, the supremacy and claims laid down in the First Vatican Council (1870). This is not technically possible at all. The defined infallibility of the church was determined dogmatically, i.e. already in the state of “incapacity for error”. Therefore a modification would appear to be the correction of an error. Completely impossible.

Pope as “honorary head” of all churches

Hence the “golden path” of circumnavigation chosen by the Vatican. According to the letter published on Thursday, the Vatican does not claim to recognize the Pope as the undisputed head of all Christian churches, but would also be satisfied with recognizing the Pope as an “honorary head.” The first goal of all Christian churches is unity among themselves and in this context the aspect of the “honorary head” recognized by all churches can come into play.

The Vatican does not intend to reduce the Pope’s claims, but rather to “reinterpret” the dogmas formulated in the First Vatican Council. If this does not work satisfactorily, a “reformulation” could also lead to satisfactory results.

“Honorary head” implied a purely symbolic position. But this is not the case, because the recognition of such a “head in honor” is also the recognition of his “special achievements and abilities”, and thus also the recognition of the special position of the Bishop of Rome itself. It’s a shell game trick.

The usual peasant trapping

A church, a church state and a head with the claim of infallibility, the apostolic succession of Peter, representation of Christ on earth and divine power. Such “modesty and sincere humility” has accompanied this church for almost 1,700 years. How could one even begin to think that the papacy is backing away from its position even a millimeter?

In addition to wording that could resemble the small print clauses of an insurance contract, the letter also contains specific demands. Accordingly, the Pope’s responsibility should be clearly defined. He is the patriarch of the western churches. Here the emphasis is on the plural. So all churches. The claim to be the mother of all churches therefore endures and that is crucial.

The letter further states that the Pope is the primacy at the “universal level”. He is the person responsible for maintaining the unity that was once achieved. The document emphasizes that the Pope is the head of a government – the Vatican City. The emphasis on “Bishop of Rome” should be increased so that the other bishops recognize that the Pope is “one of them.”

Vatican City – Vatican – Holy See

The term “Vatican City” cannot describe the actual constellation. The Vatican at least affects the “religious” part, the church itself. “By the way” the Pope is also the head of the international legal entity “Holy See”, i.e. the head of the Curia, the Church and the papal office. The structure “Vatican City”, the state itself, is – how could one have guessed otherwise – not a democracy, but a monarchy. Francis is the current “King” of “Vatican City”, head of the “Holy See” and of course also “head” of the Roman Catholic Church. All in all, the claim to an empire over all other “kings” (heads of state) on this planet, along with their unconditional obedience, was never given up.

Although the “Holy See” has a status under international law, but not the status of a state, the foreign missions are located at the Holy See and the Holy See in turn sends ambassadors to other countries. Strictly speaking, the Vatican (Church) and the Holy See (“umbrella organization”), together in the state of Vatican City, are to be viewed separately from each other. This also applies to the assets managed by the “Apostolic See”. Assets of the Vatican are not the assets of the Holy See. But they naturally work hand in hand with the Pope as the respective head of both parts. So to speak, as a model of what should be realized as a “new order” throughout the world. And with who at the top? It’s hard to think of it.

They know exactly what they’re doing

After the 150-page letter basically describes the adherence to the primacy of the Pope, the head of the “Mother of all Churches”, for all churches, it is only a matter of placing the claim of papal infallibility in an ecumenical context.

In short: How best to deceive the public and the loyal sheep. No more and no less. Therefore it remains as it is. The Pope’s unchanged claim just needs to look “more universally acceptable” in order to be accepted by the participants in ecumenism.

It can be assumed that the “leading minds” of the Protestant Church understand this Vatican letter and the principled adherence to the unchallengeable primacy of the Pope very well. It is simply a bite-sized preparation for compatibility in the course of ecumenism. Finally, the leading “ecumenists” also found the new formulation and interpretation of a “doctrine of justification” that was compatible with ecumenism. (Info).

WIt is nice to see repeatedly how the descriptions in the individual chapters of the book of Revelation visibly crystallize. The woman in Revelation 17 (Info), once the persecuted woman in Revelation 12 (Info), the church of God, has now become a whore. She rides a scarlet beast, a state power. This unfaithful woman is clothed in scarlet and purple, adorned with gold and all sorts of valuables, and she carries a golden cup in her hand. A cup with the ember wine (“rage wine”) of her fornication.

It thus spreads false teachings and does so not with “Christian charity and gentleness” but with force, blackmail and coercion. The former Protestant churches have become one with this whore and, as returned daughters, hang obediently on the tails of their Roman mother. Revelation 12:17:
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.“

Change of power is imminent

The fatal wound is healed and the whole world looks after this beast in amazement, as in Revelation 13 (Info). Everything that has political, economic and social status and recognizes the “god of fortresses” (Daniel 11), which is worshiped by the northern king, enjoys a prosperous life.

A virtual “X” on their forehead testifies to their chosen affiliation with the great adversary and his earthly representative in Rome (Info). Soon after the churches have recognized their “honorary head”, the “kings” of this world will follow and give up their power to the beast.
