Pope Leo XIV launched the first general audience of 2026 with a concentrated dose of deception and, above all, hypocrisy. He spoke of the dangers described in Revelation 13 and 17 and envisioned a future kingdom of peace and justice.
Vatican II – Central Council
The Second Vatican Council (“Vatican II”, 1962-1965) is not only one of the most important ecumenical gatherings of the Roman Catholic Church in modern times, but, alongside the Council of Trent (1545-1563), one of the most important ever. While Trent was held in response to the Reformation, Vatican II focused primarily on ecumenism. Pope Leo XIV again recalled the 1960s and, at his first general audience in 2026, particularly emphasized Vatican II.
This council was groundbreaking for world peace and unity, according to Leo XIV. For ecumenism was the only way to achieve these goals for the benefit of humanity (Source). Considering the actual Gospel, the Pontifex Maximus even displayed a strong dose of irony (to put it very charitably).
For the head of the Church pointed out that the prophecies in Revelation 13 and 17 describe a global entity that is not based on the Gospel, but rather is an expression of collective resistance to God’s law. (Video).
The task of the Church is to go out into the world to bring it the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom brings love, justice, and peace.
Church of Rome – The Innocent Lamb
Acting innocent like a one-year-old lamb, but in reality a dragon in sheep’s clothing. Even before Vatican II, the papacy ventured out into the world not to convey the Gospel, but its own doctrine. A mixture of Babylonian paganism and the philosophy of Hellenistic natural law (see Info). In contrast to the free will that Jesus Christ always granted people, the Church of Rome traditionally cultivates coercion, coercion, and ultimately death, after hours of torture (Inquisition), even to the point of outright extermination campaigns against ethnic groups (e.g., Waldensians, Albigensians, Cathars).
The Pope even espouses the vision of an earthly kingdom of peace as a result of Jesus’ return. This could not be more false and therefore more misleading, because according to the Gospel (!) the end looks entirely different (Info – here & here).
Secret, but true following
But it is a completely different one who has the vision of one day being installed as ruler over this world, since Jesus Christ will supposedly relinquish His rights on earth. This is none other than “the devil, Satan, the dragon, the ancient serpent” (Revelation 12:9). This version of an earthly kingdom of peace is shared by Satan worshippers, misguided evangelicals, and even the papacy.
The deception isn’t presented in a clumsy or old-fashioned way, but rather in an extremely sophisticated and sweet-sounding manner. It’s not religious conflicts, “pandemics,” “climate change,” wars, or saber-wielding races that pose the greatest threat to humanity, but rather the deception!
It is also obvious, since the papacy received its power, its throne and its great authority from Satan (Revelation 13):
And the Church of Rome even sings this out unashamedly, openly, “but who cares about this today?”:
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Revelation 13:1-7)
Not really surprising
Once recognized by all(!) Reformers (Info), today denied, refuted, discredited as nonsense, conspiracy theory and bizarrely misguided: The Papacy, the great “man of sin” even originating with Paul (Info).
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
