Love – Justice – Climate Protection – ADRA in the middle of the COP30 conference

Deutsch

The 2025 UN Climate Change Conference is currently underway in Belém do Pará, Brazil. The meeting focuses on the implementation of Laudato Si’, Fratelli Tutti, and Rerum Novarum. While the involvement of the UN, philanthropists, multinational corporations, and the like is to be expected, the aid organization ADRA is also actively participating in this activity, which is completely contrary to the Gospel. They are not merely observing, but are fully engaged, calling on the entire Church to follow their example.

COP30 – The UN’s climate religion

Climate protection, preservation of creation, justice (social justice, climate justice), fraternity, the human family, and human rights. All buzzwords that are constantly repeated in the media in one form or another. The encyclical Laudato Si’, published by Pope Francis in 2015, emphasizes environmental protection, the preservation of creation, and the necessity of Sunday as a day of rest.

Nature worship
Creation is above the Creator

The encyclical Fratelli Tutti, published by the same Pope in 2020, focuses on social justice, fraternity, and the human family, united to meet challenges together and ensure the well-being of the common good. The World Economic Forum (WEF) also took these principles to heart and advocates for a correspondingly faith-based implementation in the economy. The WEF even went so far as to define nature and climate protection as a religion (Info).

The current Pope Leo XIV intends to seamlessly continue the legacy of his namesake Leo XIII (social encyclical Rerum Novarum, 1891) and the visions of Pope Francis that were built upon it. The current pontiff demonstrated this, among other things, by blessing a large block of ice during a ceremony (Info).

Who’s all involved in COP30

COP30 boasts numerous partnerships from the public and private sectors, as well as with philanthropy. A small selection follows. (Source).

  • Numerous UN organizations (e.g., UNESCAP, UNITAR, UNESCWA, UNU, WHO)
  • Club of Rome
  • Microsoft (Bill Gates)
  • Adidas
  • Open Society Foundation (George Soros)
  • BMW Foundation
  • Bloomberg Philanthropies
  • German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ)
(Clients include the EU, UN, World Bank, German federal states and municipalities)
  • Germany
  • Belgium
  • European Union
  • Ireland
  • Japan
  • United Kingdom
  • USA
  • Republic of Korea

While not officially listed, the Jesuit order is certainly very active in the process. After all, this militarily structured order, founded by Ignatius of Loyola, has declared “climate justice” to be one of its key priorities, alongside social justice, education, justice, politics, economics, and migration. ADRA is taking part

On the one hand, it is surprising, on the other hand, not so surprising, that the aid organization ADRA, an organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), has declared its participation in COP30. The close ties between the church leadership, or rather the General Conference, and the UN and its affiliated organizations are nothing new. The Old Testament, particularly the stories of the prophets Elijah and Isaiah, clearly shows that Israel (the North) and Judah went hopelessly astray, leaving only a remnant of people who remained faithful to God.

The Lord showed the prophet Ezekiel that it was primarily the “leaders” of the people, the priestly caste and elders, who displayed the most perverse idolatry. Then it was one type, now it is the antithesis. This is clearly demonstrated by the cozy relationship with the secular representative of modern-day Babylon, the thoroughly occult organization UN (Info).

The Creation Day, or “Creation Sabbath,” established to commemorate the anniversary of Charles Darwin’s work on evolution, “On the Origin of Species,” also leaves a very bitter aftertaste (Info).

ADRA with “heart and soul” at COP30

ADRA published an official statement announcing its active participation in COP30, to be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10th to 21st, 2025. The statement was titled “From the Amazon to the Margins: Justice. Compassion, Love.” (Source). ADRA’s announcement came just 5 days before it was due to start.

In its letter, the organization calls on the entire Seventh-day Adventist Church to actively engage in reflection and action for creation, to advocate for justice, and above all, to support those most affected by the destruction of creation. ADRA calls on governments to provide sufficient funding for climate protection. The motivation for these actions should be fueled above all by love and hope, so that “our common home” can be healed, restored, and protected. “Compassion. Love. These are not just words—this is our calling.”

Jesuits highly committed

The Jesuits are of course involved. Not just in the background, but officially, through a “prayer guide” for COP30 published by the order. “Jesuits for Climate Justice. Faith in Action at COP30” (Source).

A prayer for every Sunday in remembrance of the climate conference. The “formula” for November 2, 2025, is:

God of the living and the dead, you grant new life to the righteous and innocent. We entrust to you all those who have recently suffered from disasters caused by climate change, as well as all other living beings who suffer or disappear due to our actions on ecosystems. Help us to change our lifestyles so that we cease destroying life. Accompany the opening of COP30 in Belém – and let decisions be made there that serve the most vulnerable and creation.”

“God of the living and the dead,” as the Jesuits put it. What did Jesus Christ say about that? Mark 12:27:
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Either they made a mistake, or they addressed a fictitious “God.” But that’s beside the point, because just as humans can’t give a zebra a checkerboard pattern, one can’t expect the Jesuits to ever abandon their war against Jesus Christ and His Gospel. That would be against their “nature” and therefore would destroy their very foundation.

What is ADRA doing in Babylon?

Babylon Wall
Babylon – Cradle of Idolatry

Far more importantly, we must ask what ADRA is doing in such an organization established by the adversary? The answer is simple: Nothing! This is pure Babylon! The very essence of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the proclamation of the Three Angels’ Messages, the call to repentance, the warning of what is to come (judgment), and the good news of the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

But not the Song of Babylon, which feigns “compassion, love, social justice, and climate justice.” What comes next? Because the Sunday question is the next topic under discussion. Be it the sanctification of the first day in favor of a papal nature deity or for the good of Mother Nature, Sunday will become an obligation, and the 7th-day Sabbath will be forbidden. That’s as certain as Mass in any Roman Catholic church. What will GC and ADRA stand on this? A compromise, or even an explicit recommendation for the “common good”?

It will turn out completely differently anyway!

New Creation
A new creation, but different way

The creation that is supposed to be protected has long since degenerated and, if one still believes biblical prophecy at all, is subject to a completely different fate than “restoration” by humankind (Info). It is therefore astonishing that ADRA has joined the ranks of the papal chorus. I recommend steadfastness, perseverance, preserving the faith of Jesus, and holding fast to the testimony He gave (Revelation 14:12; 12:17). Studying Revelation 20 (1000-year “rest”) and Revelation 21 (new heaven, new earth) would be very helpful in gaining insight.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Isaiah 51:6
