Fighting evil with good – Politics uses “Christian values”

Yin-Yang-Prinzip

Deutsch

“Evil” must be fought with “good.” This is also a perfectly effective tool for politics. It only becomes difficult when “good” is associated with the “true values of Christianity,” but this “Christianity” has absolutely nothing in common with the Gospel. This leads people to jump from the frying pan into the fire without even realizing they’ve been led around by the nose.

Political Christianity

A “masterpiece” of diluting the Gospel and then stirring it into an ecumenical mush, complete with politics and partisanship. All this, too, packaged as “pious Christianity.” Entirely in keeping with the ideas of the Roman Catholic Church. The fact that this confession of Roman principles is disseminated without comment by the mouthpiece of the Evangelical Churches in Germany (EKD) completes the story. (Source).

The issue is once again the AfD, a party considered to be on the far right within the political landscape. This political organization is “completely incompatible with Christian values,” said North Rhine-Westphalia’s Social Affairs Minister, Karl-Josef Laumann, of the Christian German Union (CDU), to the Roman Catholic outlet “domradio.de.” Whether this is so or not is up to each individual to judge. What is interesting, however, is what the representative of a “Christian party” actually calls “Christian values.”

One must answer with “Christianity”

Pseudo-Saint
Pseudo-holiness with disc and Mithras cross

Laumann counters that these “demagogues” must be confronted with “our convictions,” which reflect our ideas of society. “We must be more of a torch for this world,” Laumann says. It just needs to be properly explained to make a Christian-influenced society attractive. Therefore, a “solidary society” must be promoted, in which everyone takes each other into consideration and “the stronger shoulder more than the weak.”

The CDU politician himself is a Catholic, as he clearly makes clear. As Laumann describes it, he once wanted to become a priest. His daily life is now characterized by daily prayer and reflection on God, as well as by church services every Sunday. His “Christian compass” is primarily guided by Catholic social teaching. “When you then conduct politics based on Christian social teaching, there are a few principles, the most important of which is that people are always more important than the cause,” the CDU politician says.

Definition of “Christian values”?

Very interesting insights into what the CDU politician calls “Christian values.” To this end, it is helpful to examine the statements made by the AfD and the CDU on the subject of Christianity in their official platforms. This is something that probably only a fraction of those who go to the polling station to cast their vote take a look at.

The excerpts on the topic of “Christian, Christianity”:

From the AfD’s policy program

(Source)
We want to permanently preserve human dignity, the family with children, our Western Christian culture, our language and traditions in a peaceful, democratic and sovereign nation-state of the German people.

However, the AfD clearly opposes an Islamic religious practice that is directed against the free and democratic basic order, our laws, and the Judeo-Christian and humanistic foundations of our culture.

From the CDU’s policy program

(Source)
Fundamental decisions (such as the Western alliance), i.e. pragmatics and programmatic aspects, are linked together to form a whole based on the Christian view of humanity, which in turn forms the starting point for all fundamental considerations of the party.

However, this program continues to this day with the outstretched hand to non-Christians.

The CDU is a party of political transformations—from Adenauer to Kohl to Merkel. Its foundations, the Christian view of humanity and a “yes” to Europe, offer ample scope for renouncing old certainties.

After all, “only” parties, not churches

These are merely the excerpts on the keyword “Christianity.” As with the Gospel, it is always advisable to understand the context by also reading the context of these excerpts. This requires some initiative and personal responsibility.

Neither political parties have much to say on the topic of Christianity. Well, they are political parties after all, even if one of them derives the letter “C” from Christianity. They are not churches.

The “good” and the “bad”

Yin-Yang principle
Two extremes against each other

CDU politician Laumann’s statements against the AfD, claiming that its policies are not incompatible with the “values of Christianity,” could certainly have benefited from concrete details or examples. At first glance, the AfD’s platform doesn’t support this accusation. But, as usual, it’s the usual game. There must be “good” parties, and they are contrasted with “bad.” The one with the “white hat” demonizes the one with the “black hat.” The “good” party argues that they are on the foundation of Christianity, while the “bad” party is in league with darkness. Ultimately, the participants must be clearly identifiable. Their names are, after all, CDU and AfD.

For this reason, it is usually particularly worthwhile to examine the foundations of those who position themselves, and also with the media, as the “good.”

Catholic Social Teaching

The simple trick. The (apparent) majority supports the person positioned as the “good” one. This person argues with the highly valued values of Christianity. It’s no wonder that these astonished people naturally want to find themselves on the side of “good.” This is associated with “Christianity,” so it will be much more easily, if not automatically, accepted as a component.

The crucial question, however, is whether the CDU politician’s philosophy, sold as “Christianity,” actually represents true Christianity according to the Gospel. The answer is clear: NO!

As the Minister of Social Affairs himself openly declares, his “Christian compass” is guided by Catholic social teaching. The CDU politician didn’t mention the Gospel, or rather the Bible, a single word. The fact is, the social teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is definitely NOT based on the Gospel, but on natural law. This is not an opinion, an interpretation, or even a gut feeling, but rather something the Roman Catholic Church itself has repeatedly emphasized in official writing. In fact, in its own work, “Compendium of the Social Teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.” (Info).

Humanism testifies

The Catholic CDU politician even convinced the audience of his own position by declaring “people more important than the cause.” But what is the “cause”? The Gospel? For in natural law, the absolute focus is on man (humanism), not Jesus Christ. In Hellenistic natural law, Jesus Christ is either relegated to the outermost margins or even summarily removed.

Natural law originates from the philosophies of the ancient Hellenists. The former arose from the “spiritual achievements” of Thales of Miletus, and the latter, in turn, has its roots either in Phoenicia or in the Carian people (Info). Both Phoenicians and Carians had their own “sun god” within polytheism. Whether this god was Baal, Osiris, Horus (Re), or Mithras, it doesn’t matter. The foundation of this, from which humanism also emerged, and thus also the definition of human rights in the course of the French Revolution, (Info).

Out of the frying pan into the fire

The struggle within political ideologies, which has been waged for years with fair, but also extremely unfair, means, is leading (most) people to gather in one of these two camps and adopt their ideologies as their own. Two extremes. The principle of Hegelian dialectics (Info). The “herded people” only focus on their adopted position, defending it with all their might. Both, however, have completely lost sight of what Christianity truly represents: the Gospel as it is written down.

Before the opposing camps’ heads are completely crushed, a compromise emerges, a synthesis of thesis and antithesis. And this compromise, specifically between “Christian values” and “liberal wokeness,” has long been predefined. A kind of global ethos, a blend of “humanized Christianity” and New Age philosophy, a collective theosophy. (Info).

The fatal thing is, neither the “good” nor the “evil” has ever represented the actual gospel. A compromise between the two ideologies can never amount to the truth. But it “looks good and feels good” because it finally promises the long-awaited peace and security. All people united in a collective of the human family, brotherly and full of “good will,” with the preservation of “Mother Earth” as their goal. This “good will,” however, is the will of Rome, the first beast in Revelation 13, and its intended goal of making people worship a false god and itself!

1 Thessalonians 5:3:
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Don’t let yourself be taken in

Bible way
Eternal Gospel is the only standard

The bottom line is that it doesn’t matter whether your favored party starts with “C” or “A.” Both are pawns, tools of the first beast in Revelation 13, or the beast from the abyss according to Revelation 17. This applies locally in Germany, but also on a global level. Staying on this global game board and actively participating leads to literal nothingness. For there is no human being, even if they are called Trump or Leo, who can bring about any kind of salvation for humanity.

While the driven people beat each other’s heads in, the “good” and the “bad” sit at the same table, laughing and amusing themselves at the magnificent spectacle, joyfully moving closer to their common goal. Daniel 11:27:
And both these kings’ [Northking & Southking] hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

If a CDU politician, or someone from another party, wants to do their best to speak about the “values of Christianity,” they are welcome to do so. But it is up to the listener to identify this person as a genuine person rooted in the Gospel, or as a charlatan rooted in Catholic social teaching. Neither origin, nor function, nor task, nor suit, nor tie, nor anything else, are evidence, but “by their fruits you shall know them,” and the standard is the Gospel.

It will neither be “great again” nor permanently peaceful. Daniel had prophesied the fate that would befall the earthly empires:

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Daniel 2:44-45
