The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover has passed new, or rather expanded, internal legislation. With this so-called Equal Rights Act, the former Protestant religious institution aims to ensure the full integration of “persons of all gender identities.” The law will come into effect at the beginning of next year.

Anna Kempe (Synodal) told the church parliament that “queerphobia in any form of discrimination” must be decisively opposed. (Source).

The new law will do justice to the existing constitution.

This has long been a program anyway.

Essentially, this is simply a logical continuation of what began years ago in the former Protestant churches of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). The left-leaning, green-political events, declared as a church year, testified, among other things, to the long-accepted rainbow nature of the churches (“God is queer” – 2023 – Info).

The rainbow diversity of fictions

Today, easily observable facts no longer matter; what counts is what the individual believes they see and feel. If someone is convinced that, as a boy born, they are not truly male but female, then so be it. And society is expected to accept it.

The idea of ​​being a dog, a cat, or a teddy bear is also becoming increasingly widespread. People put on corresponding costumes and make animal noises. It’s a way of identifying with themselves.

Well, live and let live, that’s the simplest motto. As long as this person, who sees himself as something completely different from how he actually is, and thus represents and lives among his own kind, then he should not be coerced or forced into anything, nor discriminated against or “punished” with sanctions.

One is tolerant and can endure it.

The real problems

The recurring problem begins, however, when someone openly expresses that they do not accept such philosophies and social constructs for themselves and their own life. That would already be considered “an inappropriate attack, discrimination, even hate speech”.

If the Protestant churches would at least officially relinquish their role as mediators of “the Christian faith” and instead present themselves as an association of interest groups, it would be beneficial. For by their own questioning of the written word, they have undermined their own very foundation. Protestantism is based on the defense and proclamation of the written word as the only true authority.

Austrian government on the topic of gender diversity

But at this point, it’s no help when even “official bodies” try to lecture about the very real diversity of genders. The Austrian Ministry of Education feels obligated to educate adults as well, explaining to the “mature age group” that, for biological reasons alone, there can be no clear-cut gender specification. Regarding this:

Does this apply to all variants?

Anyone who identifies themselves as anything must be accepted as such. That’s the rule. Fine. But if someone professes their unconditional belief in the Gospel, in every single word as it is written, that already meets with resistance. It’s deemed “divisive, hateful, hostile, extremely fundamentalist.” But what if someone who cannot help but follow the written word of God without reservation even identifies themselves as such? After all, one cannot do otherwise. Would this then be accepted, tolerated?

Actually, yes, wouldn’t you say?

In reality, existence would be only brief.

You don’t necessarily need to “make sense” of the individual terms. What the actual differences might be is irrelevant, because it’s merely a fiction.

If one were to consider reality very realistically, then this imaginative diversity could only last for a maximum of one generation anyway. Because reproduction would fail to occur for very simple reasons.

This would only be reserved for the combination (according to the list) positions 4 & 9.
