A Christian state, with God’s morals and laws, enforced by state decree. The “wet dream” of evangelicals, or “National Christians,” also called the “Christian Right.” A model tantamount to a theocracy. According to biblical prophecy, this will succeed. However, this also shows, as does the history of ancient Israel, that such desires of “Christian power” do not bring with them God’s blessing, but rather His sweeping hand.

It should be a “Christian state”
Indeed, the so-called “Christian Right” or “National Christianity” is becoming increasingly uninhibited. What is treated rather casually in the German media is a major issue in the US. While the visibly “left-leaning” so-called mainstream media like to focus on the unorthodox statements and actions of US President Donald Trump, and this is even consistent as long as the context is taken into account, the intended goal of establishing a kind of theocracy is, in comparison, neglected.
However, Donald Trump explicitly emphasized the religious aspect of his upcoming administration during his election campaign. And yes, so far he has kept his word regarding the gradual implementation of the government plan “Project 2025“. The section on the treatment of Sundays in this government program has already made it to the Senate (Info).
The pendulum swings to the right

One believes that even the traditionally “left-woke” media landscape in Germany has abandoned its radical left-wing position and moved somewhat toward, let’s say, the center. Whether this “Hegel game” actually involves following the pendulum’s swing toward the right will likely become clear soon. If this is the case, however, then it is hardly to be expected that the media will remain stuck in the middle, because just as a swinging pendulum does not remain in the middle but swings from one extreme to the other, the same can be expected of the “official” media. These have already banished any reputation, if any, of being a neutral authority to nirvana for years.
One must not forget, however, that such a “phenomenon” will not remain confined to the United States. Instruments such as the UN, WHO (contracts), World Bank, IMF, NATO, worldwide US bases, etc., all dominated by the United States, are already ready to implement such efforts globally with “friendly force.” Once such efforts are underway, the local media will also be enthusiastic about them..
Planned globally
It’s almost to be expected, therefore, that editorial offices will publish corresponding “leading theses” when the dictated narrative demands it. And these, as wild as it may sound, are strongly tinged with a tangible theocracy. A tendency that was already clearly expressed two years ago (Info).
In fact, during his second-round campaign for the US presidency, Donald Trump announced “unprecedented power” for the Church. This is direct, open, and revealing. Because that’s exactly what it’s about: the creation of a government and legislature dominated by “Christian values.” The “Faith Office” in the White House is one of the most quickly installed new institutions by Trump. What else could a state be that introduces laws according to religious standards but a theocracy?
The majority are enthusiastic

Evangelicals in the US, especially those who drive entire “megachurches,” are thrilled. “Finally, Christianity is returning,” and Christian values and morals will prevail. The laws of the Bible will be implemented into state law, so that no one gets any “stupid ideas” and veers “to the left” again. It would already be enough for everyone, whether singles or entire families, to unite and observe Sunday worship. Regardless of whether people believe in it or not. It’s a church service for some, and climate protection Sunday and family time for others. The main thing is that everyone participates, without exception, “please.”
Some proponents see the USA on the verge of a return to Christianity, as it was in its founding years. This is either a misunderstanding or deliberate misrepresentation. The USA as a state (federal state) was never Christian. Yes, the USA was predominantly Christian, especially Protestants who had fled Roman Catholic tyranny in Europe. But the state itself, or rather the Constitution, rigorously excluded any association with any religion. This was not an “oversight”; it was a top priority. Indeed, the Roman Catholic tyrannical rule served as a deterrent (Info).
It always works – Hegel
The shift to a state with “morality and decency” is the result of the Hegelian game, which has been working time and again (Info). An extreme ideology is cultivated and contrasted with another, opposite extreme. At first, one extreme predominates, people rub each other the wrong way, and eventually the other extreme dominates. Further friction.
Until people are fed up and both sides are willing to compromise. The synthesis that was actually planned from the beginning can now be completed. And this meeting in the middle, between the “national right” and the “left-woke,” will soon take place. The Sunday law would be a perfect fit for this. As usual, Sunday service for the “Christians,” for everyone else, Sunday as a “climate protection and family day.”.
Are there biblical examples of a “theocracy”?

Such a state dictated by Christian laws must also please God, according to the unanimous view of the “National Christians.” However, at this point, the cardinal question arose as to whether there were any biblical examples of such a “Christian theocracy.”
Yes and no. The aspirations of the people of Israel, or rather the later inhabitants of the remaining Judea, certainly existed, but such a state never existed that could elicit “God’s enthusiasm.” The formation of a kingdom in ancient Israel even displeased God, for there was, after all, only one true King, Jesus Christ. But the “stubborn people” absolutely wanted to boast a kingdom with a magnificent court, like the neighboring pagan nations. The exact opposite of what the people of Israel were tasked with: to explain the truth to the world, to be the light in the darkness. Instead, they relentlessly brought paganism into their own land, even into the sanctuary of God (the temple or tabernacle), complete with idols, pagan symbols, and temple prostitutes.
God allowed it, but without blessing
God’s blessing on such “royal conditions” was correspondingly meager. God explained the reason to His faithful servant Samuel:
“And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” (1 Samuel 8:7).
It is that simple. Whoever wants to have a human king over them, as the chosen people of God, rejects Him as the only true King.
The first king was Saul, the second was David, and the third was Solomon. After that, the unity of Israel was over. Subsequently, there was a Northern Israel consisting of 10 tribes and what was essentially Southern Israel, the tribe of Judah, and “somewhere within it” the small land of the tribe of Benjamin. Also represented were the priests from the tribe of Levi, who ultimately held the exclusive priestly office. After Solomon, Jeroboam became king of Northern Israel, and Rehoboam king of Judah. And for decades afterward, they continued to beat each other’s heads in.
It happened as it had to happen

After the massive apostasy of northern Israel, God granted the Assyrians the conquest of the land, including its capital, Samaria. Thus, northern Israel was wiped out. Judah, which had behaved even worse than northern Israel, suffered a similar fate at the hands of the Babylonians. It went into exile for 70 years. A final period of 490 years followed, but this too passed unused. In 70 AD, Jerusalem, including the Temple, was razed to the ground. A few decades later, the Bar Kochba Revolt followed, and the remaining, barely surviving people were scattered to the four winds or sent to the galleys.
In short: The efforts of God’s chosen people to set a human king over themselves in order to carve God’s laws into state law, however “well-intentioned” this might have been, always ended in disaster, culminating in their final destruction by God’s hand.
False expectations – To this day
This expectation that the Messiah, described above all in Isaiah 53 and Daniel 9, would come to free the people of Israel (once again) from slavery (by Rome), to found the nation of Israel, to raise it up to be able to rule over all other peoples and also to enforce the divine laws, was self-evident.
Even Jesus’ apostles assumed this. They, too, completely misunderstood Jesus’ statement that His kingdom would soon come and that it would be within this generation. They expected an earthly kingdom in the form of a nation. But Jesus Christ spoke of a spiritual kingdom formed by His faithful believers. He even explained this to the governor Pontius Pilate:
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” (John 18:36-37)
The Pharisees could also have known, because Jesus said to them:
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:” (Luke 17:20).
They did not want the true Jesus

But as always, his own people, his own people (John 1:11), did not want Jesus:
“But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.” (John 19:15)
Such a national Messiah is expected today just as much as it was then. One who will eliminate the godlessness of this world with a single stroke of the hand, create peace, and establish his kingdom, with Israel at its head. Absolutely nothing has changed on this point. Only separate treatment is expected between Christians and Jews (Info). This applies to Jewish communities as well as to the predominantly evangelicals in the USA, and also to some church communities in Europe.
The dilemma is that the adversary will “disguise himself as an angel of light” and, in all likelihood, appear as this “great Messiah.” A deception to the bitter end, since people will actually fight against the true Jesus Christ without realizing it (Info).
Daniel described the “prospects of success”
The prophet Daniel gave an extremely revealing hint of the “great blessing” God would bestow upon such a planned “Christian state” in chapter 2. This was many centuries before the writing of Revelation, which finally, in chapters 17 to 20, provides a clear description of what would happen to the state institutions (symbolized by the beast).
Daniel saw a dream about Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon. The statue had a golden head, a silver chest, a bronze waist, iron legs, and feet made of a mixture of iron and clay. Each level represented a world empire, starting with Babylon as the golden head. As the scales go down, the metals become increasingly harder, but also less precious. The two iron legs represent the Roman Empire (Western and Eastern Roman Empire). “We live” today in the 10 toes, made of a crumbly mixture of iron and clay.
Daniel also saw the end of this structure. Daniel 2:44:
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.“
This neither looks like God’s approval nor does it suggest the sustainable existence of any earthly ruler. What will happen to a Christian state that declares its desire to impose God’s laws on everyone, but derives them not from the Gospel, but rather from the writings produced in Rome? This certainly doesn’t look very good, as history, above all, confirms.
Clear edge, clear actors

It is what it is. The roles are clearly assigned. The USA, roaring for “Christianity,” is the beast from the earth according to Revelation 13 (Info). Also called the false prophet. This already crumbling state entity with the two horns of a lamb roars like a dragon, for as a submissive lackey, it carries out the exact wishes of the beast from the sea, which represents the papacy (Info).
God will allow such a “Christian structure” for a reason, as has been prophesied for some 2,000 years: to demonstrate His own justice regarding His actions, decisions, and judgments upon each individual human being. It is up to each individual human being to remain faithful to God’s law, rather than following man-made laws, in order to honor God and thus honor His justice.
We are talking about all(!) 10 commandments, not 9 out of 10 or just 8 out of 10, but all 10!
The final decision
This will be the final, ultimate challenge for all who wish to remain faithful to God. The mark of the beast, the last of the abominations of desolation, has already passed the production phase and is in place. It only needs to be erected (Info).
Even this coming scenario, the complete confusion of those who follow the beast, keep those laws, and persecute those who remain faithful to God, was predicted by Jesus Christ:
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
John 16:2
