The Book of Enoch is increasingly being treated as an “actual” part of the Bible. It was allegedly removed in order to “suppress the truth” and leave people in ignorance. There’s just one catch. The Book of Enoch was never part of the canon of the Bible. Furthermore, it contains stories that, it seems, have already been indirectly filmed.

The Book of Enoch – Mysterious Development
If there’s one book attributed to the Bible that’s increasingly gaining importance, it’s the ominous “Book of Enoch,” or rather, the “Book of Enoch.” This work, supposedly left behind by Enoch, in turn helped the so-called Ethiopian Bible gain greater popularity. The complete Ethiopian Bible contains not only the Book of Enoch, but a total of 125 books, while the Protestant Bible contains 66 and the Roman Catholic Bible 73 (Info).
Five sections or five volumes
Depending on the edition, the Book of Enoch is available as a complete work in five sections, or in five individual volumes. The titles of the volumes suggest something mysterious and mystical.
– Volume 1: The Book of Watchers
– Volume 2: The Book of Parables
– Volume 3: The Book of Astronomy
– Volume 4: The Book of Dreams
– Volume 5: The Epistle of Enoch
The origin of the first volume of the Book of Enoch is predominantly seen in the 2nd century BC. The second volume was written during the 1st century BC. The third book of Enoch is again seen in the 2nd century BC, as is the fourth book. The fifth book of Enoch, like volume 2, was written in the 1st century BC.
Thus, the Book of Enoch does not follow a chronology of the dates of origin of the individual volumes, but was established at a later date in the order commonly used today.
“Suppressed truths finally revealed”

Particularly interesting is the portrayal that the “original Bible” contained many more books than today’s Bible versions, and that the missing books were only removed because “important information” was to be withheld from people. However, these apologists never get specific, but simply claim that “they” or “they” simply removed the books. But who are “they” or “they”? Regardless, in circles where there is much talk of “revival,” such messages are literally absorbed, since such a “conspiracy” has finally been uncovered. This new “insight” is immediately equated, completely unfiltered, with the “discovered truth.”
Indeed, some books were removed from the canon. Specifically, by the Reformers, who scoured the Roman Catholic Bible, which was common at the time but reserved for the clergy, for its coherence, the genesis of the individual books, and any apparent contradictions. Even the first King James Bible (1611) contained books considered pseudo-writings or apocrypha. The Ethiopian Bible, with 125 books, can also be described as a collection containing all books that have been in circulation or discovered “somehow, sometime, and anywhere.”
However, the Book of Enoch was never included in the canon, not even in the Roman Catholic version. Therefore, the accusation that the Book of Enoch was simply removed by “them” cannot be true. It was simply never included.
The “rediscovery” of the Book of Enoch
For many centuries, the Book of Enoch was not even a topic of discussion. The complete book, in five volumes, did not exist for a long time. Only after thorough preparatory work, collecting individual writings and classifying them, was there any mention of a “Book of Enoch” until 1773. The Scotsman James Bruce brought this collection of writings back to Europe from a trip to Ethiopia (then Abyssinia). One copy ended up at the University of Oxford, another in the National Library of France, and the third copy, in 1773, in the hands of Pope Clement XIV. The pope who dissolved the Jesuit order that same year and died in 1774.
In 1821, the Book of Enoch was available in English, translated by Richard Laurence, an Englishman of Jewish origin. The Book of Enoch was also not immune to scrutiny by historical-critical biblical scholars, but through the work of Robert Henry Charles in 1906, it achieved the status of an “Old Testament Apocrypha.” But that wasn’t the end of it. Further, supposedly more accurate translations came into circulation in 1981 (Italian) and 1983 (English). A comprehensive edition with corresponding commentaries has only been available since 2011.
Examples from the Book of Enoch
The Book of Enoch is thus a highly topical topic, experiencing increasing promotion and, unfortunately, growing popularity. After all, the Book of Enoch serves to “uncover secrets that have been hidden and kept under lock and key.” Reason enough to highlight a few statements from the Book of Enoch.
Nephilim-bearing angels

Book of Enoch 6:1-2:
“And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’“
Book of Enoch 7:1:
“And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants.“
Chapters 6:1-2 and 7:1 already provide the legend of the Nephilim. These supposed giants, who, according to stories, were the product of angels and human women, are said to have been the product of a marriage between angels and human women. The Bible certainly describes the existence of giants (e.g., Goliath) and also contains the word Nephilim. However, the common definition that they are hybrid beings is a human idea. Heavenly angels are spiritual beings created by God, not of flesh.
They are incapable of procreation with human women. Furthermore, Jesus Christ himself declared, Matthew 22:29-30:
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.“
Distortion Origin of Sin
Book of Enoch 8:1:
“And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals 〈of the earth〉 and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.“
Book of Enoch 10:8:
“And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.’“
The excerpts from chapters 8:1 and 10:8 of the Book of Enoch represent a distortion of the origin of sin. According to them, it was not man who fell into sin and caused death in this world, but an Azazel. This angel is presented in the Book of Enoch as a fallen angel (the so-called Watchers). Added to this is the idea based on evolution. According to the Book of Enoch, humans were still in their developmental phase, unable to develop and apply even the simplest techniques, not even capable of painting their own faces, but rather, these were taught by the “teacher” Azazel. Thus, humans received the “forbidden knowledge.”
Enoch’s version of the fallen angels

According to the Book of Enoch, a total of 200 angels fell and arrived on earth (chapter 6:6-7) and the names of their leaders are given below:
“Sêmîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl.“
The Bible, however, gives quite different “quantities” here. Revelation 12:4 speaks of one-third of all angels. This third was ultimately removed from heaven and cast to earth along with Satan (Revelation 12:9). The Bible does not reveal an exact number, but an illustration of the number of angels who remained faithful to God is given, for example, in Revelation 5:11:
“And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;“
Certainly a symbolic number, but just as certainly far more than 400, which, together with the supposedly only 200 fallen angels, would only amount to a total of 600 angels. For how could Jesus Christ speak of entire legions of angels if only 400 were available? Matthew 26:53:
“Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?“
Bound, incapacitated demons
Book of Enoch 10:4;12:
“And again the Lord said to Raphael: ‘Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein.“
“And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated.“
While the Book of Enoch speaks of fallen angels bound and thus incapacitated, the Bible, on the other hand, explains that the fallen angels (demons) can very well continue their evil, destructive work until the day Jesus Christ returns. This can be done in far greater numbers than the Book of Enoch suggests.
In Revelation 18, the judgment on Babylon, it is said that Babylon has become a “house of demons” and full of “unclean spirits and unclean and hateful birds.” Chapter 16, with the announced plagues, describes the final events before Jesus’ return. During the sixth plague, “unclean spirits” emerge from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet, who will “deceive the kings of the whole earth.” In other words, highly active fallen angels remain until the “bitter end.”
Raphael and the Tree of Wisdom
Book of Enoch 32:6:
“Then Raphael the holy angel, who was with me, answered me ⌈⌈and said⌉⌉: ‘This is the tree of wisdom, of which thy father old (in years) and thy aged mother, who were before thee, have eaten, and they learnt wisdom and their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked and they were driven out of the garden.’“
The “holy angel Raphael” does not exist in the Bible. Indeed, in the Roman Catholic version of the Bible, Raphael is mentioned in the apocryphal “Book of Tobit,” and even as an archangel. But according to the account in Genesis, such a figure did not appear in the Garden of Eden. Another sticking point is the designation of the “forbidden tree.” While the Bible speaks of the “Tree of Knowledge” (between good and evil), the Book of Enoch speaks of a “Tree of Wisdom.” This, in turn, points to another “Book of Wisdom” contained only in the Roman Catholic version of the Bible: a compilation of Gnostic philosophies.
Was Tolkien a reader of the Book of Enoch?

These few excerpts from the Book of Enoch are enough to justify why this work never made it into the canon of the Bible. It is simply a fantasy story, but one that clearly shows signs of twisting good into evil and evil into good.
Some narrative styles in the Book of Enoch might immediately lead one to think that a former professor of linguistics at Oxford University, where a copy of the Book of Enoch was available, might have read this Enoch story and developed his own idea from it. John Ronald Reagan Tolkien (1892 to 1973) became world famous with his story “The Lord of the Rings,” a fantasy story that also brought record box office revenues to the cinemas.
The names of the main characters in “The Lord of the Rings” read as fluidly as the “chief” of the fallen angels introduced in the Book of Enoch. Isildur, Saruman, Mordor, Legolas, Galadriel, Gandalf, and Sauron, to name a few. The final battle for the city was also impressive, with the “bad guys” inside and the “good guys” outside. Naturally, “good” triumphed over “evil.”
In this sense, “The Lord of the Rings” represents an exact reversal of the scene described in Revelation 20. It shows that there will be a final battle for Jerusalem, but Jesus Christ and the people redeemed by Him—the good ones—are within the city, and the evil ones go up and encircle the city. Fire falling from heaven consumes the besiegers.
Book of Enoch is fantasy & dangerous
The earliest date of the Book of Enoch alone completely rules out the possibility that Enoch could have had anything to do with this work. This raises the question of which Enoch is actually meant. The Bible tells of two different Enochs. One is the Enoch raised up by God, thus the seventh after Adam. And the other is the son of Cain, and thus a completely different branch. Neither Enoch left behind the book, but what spirit lies behind the stories it contains?

Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and similar fantasy stories have at least served a purpose. Already no longer entirely able to distinguish fiction from reality, millions of people are deeply influenced by these stories. Unfortunately, they are also conditioned to accept ancient fantasy stories at face value.
The Book of Enoch at least fulfills all the criteria that represent the enormous problem facing humanity in the end times. Spiritualism, which is already fulfilled when one believes in an immortal soul, equating oneself with God, combined with bizarre, mystical narratives. This is especially true when it comes to the falsely conveyed message that fallen angels, due to their bondage, are incapable of seducing humanity into erroneous teachings and ideas.
Particularly striking in this regard are the discussions and hearings in the United States, which have long been conducted at the official level and address the “extraordinary phenomena” of recent months and years. The consensus on “non-human phenomena and intelligences” is not a fantasy story, but reality. Anyone who imagined that there could soon be events that could virtually confirm at least excerpts from the Book of Enoch would be a scoundrel.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
