Big Bang – Evolution – “Compatible with the Creation Account”?

Charles Darwin

The narrative of the world’s continuous development from the Big Bang to the present day is taken for granted as an “immutable fact.” The Roman Catholic Church, which has always been hostile to the Gospel, is passionate about this narrative. Such theories therefore need to be constantly remembered and refreshed.

Evolution – Taken for granted

The evolution of the world, whether it be the first “Big Bang” nearly 15 billion years ago or the evolutionary continuation of things some 12 billion years later, after the first cell emerged in the “primordial soup.” Regardless of whether intellectual models collide with new discoveries and insights based on observations, the narrative remains fixed. Then the intellectual model must be adjusted elsewhere so that it once again produces the desired image.

Weltall
Nothing – Bang – Everything

Pope Francis revealed how closely the Roman Catholic Church is linked to the theory of evolution by declaring that evolution is compatible with the account of creation in Genesis (God’s creation). A similar interpretation can also be found in the Roman Catholic Catechism, which states that God wanted to bring His creation ”to completion.” God created man “in His own image,” according to CCC 1701, and Christ “restored the image of man, disfigured by original sin, to its original beauty and ennobled it by the grace of God.”

How did that fit in with the Gospel?

An interesting but hardly accurate description, because reconciling this with the theory of evolution, which is also advocated by the same church, would mean that the “image of God” must once have been some kind of “ape-like” creature, more at home hanging from trees than walking upright.

How could one determine at what point in the postulated theory of evolution, humans became capable of sin? “Death is necessary” for evolution, according to a leading thesis in this humanities’ guild. However, according to the Gospel, there was no death before sin. Because sinful humans are condemned to death, this was also the initial spark that brought the saving Gospel into the world in the first place..

Christ restored the original beauty, according to the Church of Rome. Did that mean that humans were sinless from then on, or that sin no longer played a role? The original beauty applied to all of creation. However, Paul had this to say on the matter in Romans 8:21-22:
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

As long as sin and death exist in this world, the original beauty that was deemed “very good” by the Creator (Genesis 1:31) is still far from being restored!

Completely incompatible

Cube & Hole
Square & Circle – Doesn’t fit

Either/or. The theory of evolution or the creation story. The two cannot coexist. If one places “spiritual science” above the Book of Genesis, then everything that follows, up to Revelation 22, can also be dismissed. This is not a problem for the Roman Catholic Church, because this Roman institution cares very little about the written word of God and places its own doctrine and tradition above everything that the authors of the Bible left us (Info).

Revelation 21 also clearly describes what the future holds for the present, degenerate creation. God makes everything new. Not a gradual development over a long period of time, but after cleansing the earth (Revelation 20) and removing death and sin, God creates a new earth and a new heaven. No patchwork, no whitewashing of the old. Completely new. Although not described in detail, it stands to reason that God’s new creation will also take place in six days, and the seventh day, the Sabbath, will once again be the crowning conclusion (Info). For this seventh day will also be continued on the new earth (Isaiah 66:23).

Diocese of Eichstätt & Prof. Andreas Burkert

The Diocese of Eichstätt has published with visible approval the findings revealed in an interview by astrophysicist Professor Andreas Burkert, the highly decorated holder of the Chair of Theoretical and Numerical Astrophysics at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. “The Word of God in the story of creation corresponds to the Big Bang,” according to the formulation consistent with the Roman Catholic Church. “The Word of God in the Bible provides the impetus for the creation of the world,” says Burkert. (Source).

The interviewer pressed further and wanted to know whether light represented a kind of eternity, since Heidelberg physics professor Markolf H. Niemz described in his best-selling book “Lucy im Licht – Dem Jenseits auf der Spur” (Lucy in the Light – On the Trail of the Afterlife, 2007) that “after death, the soul flies into eternity at the speed of light.” In addition to physics, Niemz also studies the phenomenon of “near-death experiences.” He concluded that the so-called searchlight effect, often described as a tunnel with light at the end, represents a “world memory” that provides the dying with a review of their lives.

Light is timeless, according to Burkert. When moving at the speed of light, time stands still. This timeless existence could also be described as eternity. However, it also seems possible that this universe exists eternally. Whether the universe is finite or eternal is currently unknown. Science is currently working to better understand this.

Theosophical principle

New Age philosophy
Irgendwie Gott überall in allem

The theory of evolution, the groundless emergence from nothingness, instead of God’s justified creation from the same nothingness. And an immortal soul that separates from the body. Narratives that are fully supported by the Roman Catholic Church, but which cannot be found in the Bible. The principle of evolution and that of the Gospel are completely mutually exclusive, and the “immortal soul” is a relic of paganism that is still cultivated today. For here too, the Bible is clear (Info).

A strong breeze of philosophy in the spirit of New Age. What humans believe they know today is a product of Georges Lemaître and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s Big Bang theory. The former formulated the Big Bang theory, i.e., the “hardware,” and the latter provided the corresponding philosophies, i.e., the “software.” Both “scientists” were Jesuits and thus members of the Church of Rome, which has always determined what must be believed.

The theory of evolution, religion for atheists, accompanied by the appropriate philosophy of paganism, with a Christian veneer. Humanity is already on the home stretch for the final run-in of the unified world religion, theosophy (Info).

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
