There are many variations on the course of the “end times” or “end times,” but only one can be correct. It is according to the Bible’s descriptions of current and future events. This requires “only” ignoring “prophetic hawkers” and accepting the gospel, the written Word of God.

End times or time of the end?
The different terms “end times” and “time of the end” can sometimes cause confusion and misunderstanding. These terms are not precisely defined. This is due, if only, to the fact that this interpretation is handled differently in the various languages of the Bible translations.
In Hebrew, the word used for “time of the end” is “qets.” This simply describes the end, the conclusion of a process, or “afterward.”
e.g. Daniel 8:17;19:
“So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be..“
Further passages are Daniel 11:35;40, Daniel 12:4;9

In the Book of Daniel, the “time of the end” is a particularly frequently used term. This also indicates that the prophecies in the Book of Daniel are especially relevant (also) for our time. It is therefore no wonder that the Book of Daniel is the target of attacks aimed at discrediting it as a retelling from a much later time, created by unknown authors. However, archaeology and linguistics have long since proven that the Book of Daniel is authentic. Furthermore, the allegation of forgery undermines the credibility and authority of Jesus Christ, for He emphatically recommended (Matthew 24:15) reading the Book of Daniel (Info).
Time of the end has long been underway
The “end times” or “time of the end” describes a period that begins and ultimately culminates in the “end.” According to the prophecies, especially in Daniel 8:11 and 12, this period of the end has already begun. Daniel 8:14 even specifies a specific year, namely 1844 (Info).
Others, however, place the beginning of the end period on the prophecy that the “little horn” will be deprived of power after (prophetic) “a time, times, and half a time” (Daniel 7:25-26). Another statement is found in Revelation 13:5, which specifies (prophetic) 42 months (Info prophetic times).
This era of power has already ended. Historically, it dates back to 1798, when the political papacy was deposed by Napoleon’s General Berthier (Info). Whether 1798 or 1844, both dates lie long in the past and underline that humanity is in the midst of the end times.
Confusion about the process and events
If great confusion does indeed prevail, it is during the end times until the return of Jesus Christ. What has been can no longer be changed anyway. “Forces” may be trying to simply “remember differently” the unchanging past (Info), but what is crucial is where one has positioned oneself during this time and, above all, what one is actually waiting for.
Kingdom of Peace on Earth & Pre-Rapture

The most popular misconception or false assumption is the appearance of Jesus Christ, who will establish a 1,000-year kingdom of peace on earth. Associated with this is a seven-year period of tribulation, which the Christian congregations, however, will not have to endure, as they will be brought to safety through a (secret) pre-rapture. Both are unbiblical, for there is neither a 1000-year kingdom of peace on earth (Info), nor will anyone be raptured to heaven beforehand (Info).
With Daniel 8:14 (2300 evenings and mornings), the last concrete time prophecy has been concluded: the year 1844. What is predicted for the subsequent period refers to events and circumstances, not to any “dates.”
The course of the time of the end – Rough framework
As always, there are no “deadlines.” The following developments won’t replace one another and are geared more toward the individual than the masses. There will be temporal overlaps and regional differences in the course of events. But it will happen.

No pre-rapture!
It is fundamentally important to recognize that there will be no pre-rapture. While God’s people will receive God’s seal in due time and thus be protected from the subsequent plagues, they will still be “in the thick of it.” The seal of God is to be understood as more than a “seal of quality”—a seal that still influences people in some way. Sealed people are so firmly anchored in the truth and faith that nothing will deter them.
In addition, the persecution of God’s people will intensify. It will go so far that an order (a decree, a law) will be issued to kill those who remain faithful to God. This describes the phase of “Jacob’s anguish.” The death decree is the famous final straw. God will intervene, stop the persecutors, and truly usher in the “end of the end times.” Jesus Christ will return, take his people to himself in the clouds, and put an end to those who remain on earth. This will happen with the last plague. This describes, among other things, the falling of stones weighing tons (Revelation 16:21), which is nothing other than “a tangible stoning.”
Latter Rain – Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

The latter rain corresponds to the separate outpouring of the Holy Spirit, in the same way the apostles experienced it at Pentecost. Special powers, such as healing and prophecy, are bestowed. Added to this is the “loud cry,” the loud proclamation of the final warning to finally emerge from Babylon (Revelation 18:4). Already under pressure from the Sunday law (the mark of the beast), the people must make a decision: either seek the mark of God or accept the mark of his adversary. This is likely to happen quite quickly, because refusing the mark of the beast is inherently associated with exclusion from economic participation (no longer being able to buy or sell).
God doesn’t set a deadline for the closing of the gate of grace. Ultimately, He wants people to be saved, but He leaves it up to people to choose one path or another. Once people have taken their position, this is final, and then the door closes, just as the gate to Noah’s Ark was closed before the flood.
The sighting of the people
This pressure of the mark of the beast naturally weighs particularly heavily on the people of God, who know exactly what it is all about. This also initiates the sifting of the church. Those who are truly grounded in the Word and have love for God or Jesus Christ will remain faithful to God. Any “hypocrisy” only comes to light when circumstances become challenging.
Thus, the Sunday law also represents a kind of catalyst that will initiate the separation of the wheat from the chaff. The consequences of remaining faithful to God will be massive (Info).
Pseudo-Christ at the end of time

Since the erroneous version of a Jesus Christ walking on a peaceful earth is so widespread, one cannot emphasize enough that this will by no means be the case. The Bible is clear on this point (Info). This false assumption leads to a “pseudo-Messiah” being followed at the end of time, who has one thing in mind above all else:
Disregarding God’s commandments, especially the Fourth Commandment, the 7th-day Sabbath. The deception will certainly be convincing, but only to those who did NOT seek the truth in the Gospel.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
