US election campaign – Christian tone becomes louder

The election campaign in the USA for the next president from 2025 is slowly heating up. On the Republican side, the underlying tone of “Christianity” is reaching ever higher amplitudes. Mike Pence is all for a “conservative moral” course, criticizes Joe Biden and calls for strong faith.

Mike Pence presents himself as a “model Christian”

Trump-and-Pence
Mike Pence still an enthusiastic Trump fan

The former US Vice President under Donald Trump, Mike Pence, seems to want to emulate the famous flag in the wind. With a top job in sight during the election campaign for US President from 2017, he was still all fired up for Donald Trump, only to distance himself from him immediately after Trump was voted out. With the next election in 2024 in sight, Pence can no longer stand behind his former boss “with a clear conscience”.

Mike Pence is a Catholic and, it seems, a very special one in his profession. In 2016, he described himself with a hint of friendship as a “Protestant Catholic”. Whatever that may represent. Donald Trump, on the other hand, an evangelical, praised the country’s Catholics as a “great” pillar of society. The component of ecumenism driven by Rome is unmistakable, even within politics.

Only criticism left for Joe Biden

Joe Biden – ‘Controversial’ US President

The current US President Joe Biden is a Catholic. The second Catholic US President after John F. Kennedy. But Pence is anything but enthusiastic about the current President from the Democratic camp. In a speech to the Southern Baptists, Pence did not hold back from criticizing Joe Biden. There is nothing good about the current President, said Pence. He did not vote for Biden in the last US presidential election. (Source).

Pence cannot think of anything that Biden has ever done right. Moreover, there are no debates about the president’s condition and his ability to perform his duties. Pence assured in his speech that Joe Biden has always been wrong and this is nothing new.

Conservative course still controversial

The former vice president and founder of the “Advancing American Freedom” foundation (2021) reiterated that he stands for “traditionally conservative values”. There are divisions in the Republican camp. Internally, there is a discussion about whether the course of “strong national defense of America’s leadership role in the world”, the balanced budget, a limited government, traditional moral values, the right to life, marriage and religious freedom should be maintained.

For Pence, there is no question that the discussions about the right to life are not over yet. The fate of the USA depends on whether the sanctity of life is placed back at the center of American law.

Ecumenical tone

Ecumenism is on the environmental and climate track

Pence, a Catholic, surprisingly named the evangelical preacher Billy Graham as his personal guide for decisions in his life so far. This also applied to the decision to support the 2020 election result. He focuses on faith, and so it was God’s grace that got the country through the day when the Capitol was stormed by “election deniers” on January 6, 2021.

With the election approaching, Pence said, the time has come to tell people to pray for America. This also requires repentance. The former vice president also called for people to call their neighbors and friends and not just “the people out there” who disagree with “us” and “don’t accept our faith in Jesus Christ.”

People must also be included who openly confess and do so that they “search all of our hearts” and see how the meaning of their own lives can be changed. A change that inspires the nation.

“Right” will replace “Left”

The (new) Christian aspect of the announced policy is unmistakable. In view of the “woke” ideology that has been rampant in recent years, it is not surprising that such “morally conciliatory”, Christian tones would be accepted by the broad US electorate. Just as things are going in the “old continent” of Europe, the conservative ideology that is reviled as “right” is slowly regaining the upper hand.

The guidelines, including the national legislation in the USA, will be a set trend, as in previous decades, which will then spill over across the Atlantic. At the heart of “Christian existence” is observance of Sunday services. In the USA, of course, this is inevitably linked to the well-being of the nation.

Such a pronounced patriotism is unthinkable in Germany, but the Roman Catholic Church has long had a trump card up its sleeve for this: “Climate Protection Sunday”. Already defined as a religion, this event also serves its purpose (Info). It is about nothing less than the difference between Saturday (Sabbath) and Sunday (Info).

Next prophecy fulfillment in sight

Prophetie
Fulfilled prophecies are among the most convincing arguments in the Bible

In addition to the presentation of the truth of Revelation 13, with the USA as the leading force in world events (Info), the rapid change from “left-woke” to “right-Christian” leads to another “textbook fulfillment” of biblical prophecy.

In the typos the overpowering of the king of the south by the king of the north according to Daniel, chapter 11 (Info). For all those taking part, however, it was a direct belly landing from the frying pan into the fire. Because not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” will ever see the kingdom of heaven. Anyone who deliberately, or in misguided “good faith” tramples on God’s law will receive their comeuppance “at the end of the day”.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:22-23
