Trump received a majority of votes from Catholics

Make USA great again

The majority of the American electorate, which is largely divided into two camps, has chosen Donald Trump as the next US President. The strategy of creating two poles “Christian” and “non-Christian” worked. Even the majority of Catholics chose the Protestant candidate.

Hegel strategy bears fruit

The election in the USA was basically dominated by the two poles “Christian” and “non-Christian”. This constellation has been built up with a lot of effort and care over the past few years. The people (voters) overwhelmingly flocked to one of the two ideologically oriented camps.

A prime example of what is also called Hegelian dialectics (Info). A tried and tested means of eliminating the multitude of opinions within society, polarizing them and ultimately setting them against each other.

For the majority of people there was only the choice between “woke-liberal” or “conservative-Christian”. The voter’s own attitude is also aligned accordingly. Only small splinter groups can no longer come to terms with one or the other artificially constructed ideal.

Accordingly, the proportion of Trump voters also consisted predominantly of Christians. “Vatican News” is a bit exaggerated in its portrayal of Christian voters helping Trump win the election, but the emphasis is still undeniable (Source).

Accordingly, a survey after the election showed that Donald Trump, the now designated 47th US President, received 54 percent of the votes from Catholics across the USA. In the group of Protestants and remaining Christians, the share of votes for Trump was 61 percent. The majority among Catholics is remarkable because the Republican is, at least according to his own admission, a Protestant. Trump sees himself as belonging to the Presbyterians.

In the previous election, the current President Biden faced a Catholic. Kamala Harris, on the other hand, is neither Protestant nor Catholic, but has clearly positioned herself in opposition to Christianity. It could therefore also be assumed that many Catholics voted for the “lesser evil” by voting for Trump.

However, Trump was less successful with Jewish and Muslim voters. 60 percent of this group of voters chose Kamala Harris.

Touched with Catholic tones

The key to US politics is in Rome

However, during an appearance in Florida, the recent election winner Trump sounded a Catholic tone. After thanking the American people for the “greatest political movement of all time,” Trump emphasized that he wanted to “heal” the deeply divided country. If Trump keeps his word, he will immediately take steps after taking office to implement the already completed government program “Project 2025” and give the church “unprecedented power.”

The “beast from the earth,” which grew up with the horns of a lamb, now sounds like a dragon (Info).

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
