The impending Sunday law is making many people nervous. On the one hand, that’s a good thing if it helps them wake up from a deep sleep. However, there should be no hyperventilation. Because a law on Sunday rest alone is not the actual mark of the beast. But it can safely be seen as the visible “abomination of desolation”.

Many are alarmed

There is increasing rumbling about the possible implementation of a so-called “Sunday law” in the USA. It had already been announced that “Project 2025” would be implemented when a Republican government was installed. A government program with a seemingly minor regulation for rest on every Sunday (Info).
The highest US court had already determined (determined) some time ago that a legally established Sunday rest does not violate the constitution if it is motivated by moral reasons and not religious reasons. Well, the difference is ultimately only in the wording of such a law. The individual US states have to lend a hand in implementing it.
But there are people who react very alarmed at the term “Sunday law” (“Blue Laws”). “The Sunday law is the mark of the beast,” according to some statements. No, it is not yet the mark of the beast (Info). But it comes a lot closer to that.
It has to do with worship
First of all, one characteristic of this mark must be taken into account. Recognizable in Revelation 13:14-17:
“And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.“
The beast with a sword wound is the first beast in Revelation 13, the (politically) papal Rome. But the emphasis is specifically on worship. It is therefore a spiritual-religious act. Whoever or whatever is to be worshipped, observing a prescribed rest period is by no means worship.
People in Germany have had to bear the mark on their foreheads or hands since August 11, 1919. That was the year that Sunday rest (even in the church) was established in the Weimar Constitution.
In addition to the obligation, there is also a prohibition

There is another aspect to consider. The Fourth Commandment describes the observance of the (biblical) Sabbath (7th day, “Saturday”). If the Sunday law is introduced, this will not affect the observance of the true Sabbath. (Info).
Currently, for example, “Project 2025” describes the mandatory day of rest on a Sunday. It does mention a day of rest, but not church services and worship. The focus is on the relationship between employer and employee. However, there is a big “BUT”. Failure to observe the day of rest should already be accompanied by financial disadvantages. So anyone who wants to observe the true Sabbath, but also the legal Sunday, must negotiate this with their employer. With corresponding prospects of success, even if it means disadvantages in terms of salary.
It becomes very problematic when the Sunday law has long been in place, but then the component of worship (on Sunday) and the prohibition of keeping the true Sabbath are pronounced. This crosses the red line. Human legislation is in serious conflict with God’s law here. At this point, man must decide whether he wants to obey human (specifically papal) law or remain faithful to God. This would make the mark of the beast very concrete.
People have to want it themselves
It is to be expected that a few more “inconveniences” will rain down on humanity in order to be able to activate the worship component at the “desire of the people” and to pillory the keepers of the true Sabbath accordingly. Such a law cannot simply be imposed on people globally, including all other religions and atheists. The conditions must be created so that people themselves want it. Further environmental and climate disasters, as well as states of war and the resulting consequences, would be ideal for this.
The “Red Banners”

However, a Sunday law that is being introduced in the USA, the “beast from the earth” (Revelation 13 – Info), and then expanded globally, can be seen as the visible final “abomination of desolation”. The very last warning sign like the visible red banners of the Roman legion in front of the city of Jerusalem shortly before 70 AD.
According to Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, anyone who sees this warning sign should flee the city as quickly as possible. Without delay. Anyone who did not get out in time or did not flee at all became a victim of the terrible massacre that destroyed Jerusalem and the temple.
A Sunday law should “actually” be a real wake-up call, by pouring ice-cold water on them. But it drips and splashes along. A little here, a little there. People look up briefly and then continue their long nap. The reality is that anyone who is actually a watchman of Zerubbabel, who keeps watch in increasingly difficult times, is mostly looked at with pity and also contempt. It doesn’t matter. The surprise follows immediately.
The following verse may be in a different context in the Bible (final plagues before Jesus’ return), but it also applies to the sleeping sleepwalkers when the mark of the beast is introduced. Although they should have known better:
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
