For the last Sunday “speech” at St. Peter’s Square, the Pope focused on the Holy Spirit in order to set up some steep theses on this topic.

Holy Spirit was the focus
Last Sunday, Pope Francis gave “his best” on the subject of the gospel during midday prayer. This time the pontiff focused on the Holy Spirit and warned his followers about the evil influences of Satan.
In the Holy Spirit, Pope Francis sees the “Comforter” and “Advocate” who never leaves people alone and refers to John 14:15-17, in which Jesus Christ calls the Holy Spirit “Paracletes” in Greek. The Holy Spirit assists us like a lawyer who assists the accused, the Pope said according to the translation made by Radio Vatican. We must always remember that “the great accuser is always the devil”. It is he who inspires sins, lust for sin and wickedness in men.
The Holy Spirit confronts us with our mistakes and always corrects us with kindness.
Another aspect of the Holy Spirit is that he defends us as an advocate and intercessor against the accusers. He also protects ourselves, “if we don’t love each other, can’t forgive each other, which can even go so far that we convince ourselves that we’re failures, of no use,” said the pope. The Holy Spirit defends us “from the world that excludes all those who do not fit into its schemes, its models”. Furthermore, may the Holy Spirit defend us against the devil, “who is the par excellence accuser and divider; who does everything to make us feel incapable and unhappy”.
The Pope ended the midday prayer with the “obligatory” request to Mary. “May Mary make us receptive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and to his presence,” said the pontiff.
The usual mix
Again, with the “speech” of the Pope, a mixture of truths and heresies took place. It is correct that the Holy Spirit draws people’s attention to their mistakes, specifically sins, and also, if the person allows it, to make appropriate corrections. However, it is not the devil who inspires sin in man, but it is in the nature of fallen man himself. Matthew 15:19 says:
and Mark 7:21:
It is the Holy Spirit who first makes fallen man aware that he is living in sin.
The inability to forgive yourself?
The “flaw” enumerated by the Pope, that we cannot forgive ourselves, is yet another paragon of erroneous teaching. If I harm my neighbor, how can I ever forgive myself for it? In the case of misconduct, it is the injured neighbor and in the case of sins it is only God alone who can ever forgive my deed. This is self-righteousness taught by the pontiff.
Get out of this world, says the Bible
The Holy Spirit didn’t even want to see people in this world, but wanted to get them out of there as quickly as possible. However, the decision lies with the people themselves, since the voluntariness is preserved. There is no defense against “exclusion” within this world because:
James 4:4″
So the motto is to get out of there as quickly as possible. The pope logically advocates inclusivity rather than the biblical call of Revelation 18:4:
So get out of Babylon.
Devil make us “disabled and unhappy”
The devil does everything to make us feel “incompetent and unhappy,” according to the Vatican leader. Is that actually the case in general? Isn’t the reverse more likely? Satan’s goal is undoubtedly the destruction of every human being. Does the perdition come about by feeling unhappy and possibly seeking and finding salvation and comfort in the (true) gospel, or rather by feeling content and happy, to be able to do so in a certain self-satisfaction in error and above all in dwelling on sin without even realizing it?
A saving hand awaits for the unfortunate
In fact, especially in recent years, people’s dissatisfaction has increased. The circumstances show far more adversity than in previous years. But the “benevolent” hand stretched out from Rome cannot be the salvation. The Catholic Mary, which was exalted again, testifies to this. According to the “papal directive of faith”, this is at least very helpful in order to make people receptive to the Holy Spirit of God. But Maria died a good 2000 years ago and since then she has been in the “deep sleep“.
