A funeral mass is held by the Catholic Church for the dead. This now also applies to glaciers in the Alps that have not yet completely “deceased”. Together with the evangelical church, a requiem is to be held on the Zugspitze (highest mountain in Germany, Bavaria) to “remember” climate change.

Rituals up to lofty heights
The Catholic Church is known for its numerous, very strange-looking rituals. One of these idiosyncratic ceremonies is the Mass for the Dead, also known as the Requiem. A ceremony for the deceased, introduced as early as the 2nd century AD, immediately before their burial. The Church of Rome has a pronounced fondness for commemorating the dead and this is not limited to their former lifetime, but especially for their fictitious work in this world from their supposed afterlife.
The Catholic Church itself knows that this is completely impossible, but has nevertheless preferred to ascribe an immortal soul to man and, against better knowledge, to nail this down in the Catholic Catechism (Catechism Pos. 366). The Catholic Church is well aware that the Bible contains no reference whatsoever to an immortal soul. This can be found in the “New Catholic Encyclopedia“, Volume 13.
Since the Church of Rome is now spreading the thesis that the “souls of the dead” continue to have an effect in the afterlife and that this is possibly still worthy of being spoken of as “holy” by the Pope, a funeral mass can also be introduced. So you build other fictions on top of fictions.
Funeral mass for glaciers
How “serious” this church is about the credibility of its rituals is shown by the now planned funeral mass on the Zugspitze, in favor of a melting glacier. Whether it can now be assumed that the glacier possesses a soul that is about to leave its body has so far remained unsaid. However, since the funeral mass is to take place next Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary on the Zugspitzplatt, as reported by the Catholic magazine katholisch.de, the glacier will apparently die in the coming days expected. Otherwise, a funeral mass made no sense.
Glacier seems to have a living soul
In a requiem mass beginning with the words “Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine”, those present pray for the salvation of the souls of the deceased, and the following formula is also used in this liturgy:
You are to be praised, Lord, on Zion, Your vows are fulfilled in Jerusalem.
hear my prayer; all flesh comes to you.
Lord give them eternal rest
Apparently, in the Catholic faith, not only a thin slice of wheat flour is turned into meat, but also frozen water.
Climate change and ecumenism
This requiem is supposed to be a reminder of climate change, as one would have expected. As if the churches and the media weren’t already busy enough drawing people’s attention to the changes in the more than 30-year chain of weather events. Since the mother church of Rome does not want to climb the summit to the Zugspitzplatt alone, the daughter of the Evangelical Church of Bavaria naturally follows her. This purely Catholic ritual of veneration of the dead is given the status of ecumenism and the once Protestant churches are already enthusiastically involved. Together they pray according to the program for the integrity of creation, nature and the preservation of habitats.
What did Jesus Christ say about the dead or the dead?
And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Matthew 8:21-22
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Mark 12:27
Catholic Church acts “consistently”
Das was aber Jesus Christus sagte bzw. lehrte, kümmerte die katholische Kirche noch nie sonderlich. Many centuries ago, this church simply changed God’s statutes, be it the 10 Commandments or the “Day of the Lord” as their official teaching and did not hold back from mocking the Son of God with any means imaginable (Eucharist and Corpus Christi). In doing so, however, this church succeeded in the trick of its innumerable blasphemies to put on the robe of Christianity. So now also for the Requiem in lofty heights.
