The perplexity and helplessness of the spiritually completely impoverished evangelical church in Germany is clear. A so-called religious pedagogue is now demanding “courage for something new” and it doesn’t even have to be “absolutely right”.
More dare to experiment

Without the gospel, one dabbles in experiments
In relation to the gospel, the spiritual poverty of the evangelical churches in Germany is obvious. This is evidented again in a seemingly desperate attempt to lure people into the orphaned church buildings with any new strategies. This church is running out of ideas. The religious educator and member of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), Michael Domsgen, now sees his call to persuade the church to be more willing to experiment. For this purpose, the “traditional ways” must also be questioned, according to the educator at the synod conference of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dresden, according to evangelisch.de. Instead of the previous methods, what is now needed is “bold trying with the available options”. It’s not about doing the “absolutely right thing”.
The evangelical church now needs an “interactive attitude”. You have to get away from stationary thinking and now act on an outpatient basis. The church must go where the people are. It is important to act “credibly”. There are alternatives to the existing structures. The church could also be designed differently. “Anyone who wants to make a fresh start has to break with routine,” said the Protestant educator.
Spiritual darkness

Hopeless darkness shows itself through helplessness
Except for completely meaningless empty phrases, the educator actually did not get anything further on the way. A “courageous experiment” could also consist of chanting the wording of the “Our Father” even within small groups while dancing. The evangelical church is completely finished and the evangelical educator with a chair at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg has just as little interest in the gospel as in the teachings of the namesake of his university (his breadwinner). Martin Luther already predicted the spiritual darkness and specifically referred to general education as the cause. The reformer only made a mistake with the point in time. This darkness came much later than he estimated. But now it’s pitch black.
The frog is already visible
Since the few unfulfilled prophecies of the Bible, which can also be understood by educators, will with absolute certainty come true, there is no longer any hope for the apostate Protestant church, which has been described as a “false prophet”. Not even the “absolutely right thing” needs to be done, it simply has to be something “new”. No! What is to be done and what is to be told to the people can be read in the Bible and this is outside of any church tradition, be it Protestant or Catholic.
