The majority of religious people expect a future savior, a Messiah. The only strange thing is that the majority of communities that call themselves Christian, whether evangelical or Catholic, expect a Jesus who is not described in this way in the Bible.

A false Christ is expected
Large groups of evangelicals expect a Jesus who wants to establish an earthly kingdom on earth after the “Antichrist” has been up to mischief for 7 years. The so-called 7-year period of tribulation or tribulation. However, there is a catch. This expected Jesus has nothing to do with the Jesus Christ of the Bible. This is simply because the Jesus of the Bible will not even set foot on this completely polluted earth when he returns (Info). In fact, it is the redeemed who will be resurrected, or transformed, and taken up to Jesus Christ in the clouds (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

The reason for this erroneous assumption that the tribulation period lasted 7 years is the arbitrary transfer of the verse Daniel 9:27 into the future. A completely new interpretation of prophecy by “clergymen” from the Jesuit camp (Info).
The Jewish communities are still waiting for the first appearance of a Messiah because they rejected or did not recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
The view of the Satanists is also interesting in this context. They see the gospel in a reversed sense. For them, Satan is the savior and rightful owner of the earth. They believe that Satan will bring his believers back to life and establish a new civilization according to his rules. Therefore, it can even be expected that this group knows full well that the expected pseudo-Christian is actually Satan, who will act like an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
A large-scale deception
Those people who expect a national Jesus who wants to establish an earthly kingdom will believe that when the pseudo-Christian appears they will have the real Jesus before their eyes. It is immediately to be expected that this “imposter” will accordingly introduce new teachings that are completely contrary to the gospel. However, they are all deceived. Some from a false messiah, others from the promises of their self-elected “master”.
The expectation of the Church of Rome

The position of the Roman Catholic Church is also interesting here. This institution ultimately received its power and throne from the adversary (Revelation 13:4), even if it always acts innocently and “holy”.
On May 24, 2001, the then Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (head of the Inquisition), Joseph Ratzinger, made it clear. He published the letter “The Jewish People and Their Holy Writings in the Christian Bible.” In the second section, paragraph 5, Ratzinger writes:
“Jewish messianic expectation is not in vain. It can become for us Christians a powerful stimulant to keep alive the eschatological dimension of our faith. Like them, we too live in expectation. The difference is that for us the One who is come will have the traits of the Jesus who has already come and is already present and active among us.“
Astonishing! The Church of Rome expects a Messiah who will have “the traits” of Jesus. This means nothing other than that the expected person must be similar, but completely different. So another Jesus, whoever that may be. This proves once again that the adversary’s earthly henchman knows exactly what is in order.
What about the other main religions?
There is also an expectation in the other major religions or world religions. Islam expects an Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi, Buddhism expects the Buddha’s successor Maitreya. This is also a known and expected quantity among new agers. Hinduism, a whole pot of “gods” numbering around 330 million, will have no problem getting along with one or two more “gods”.
Dynamic times will come

A time of “great signs and wonders” is expected. Something overwhelming. The deception will be convincing and almost everyone will bend their knees. And anyone who dares to contradict the “figure of light” that has appeared and cling to the gospel will most likely be driven into a corner. Anyone who dares to refuse to sanctify Sunday (1st day of the week) and instead observe the biblical Sabbath (7th day of the week) will be declared a threat to the common good. The final persecution of God’s faithful ones is inevitable (Info).
The future persecutors are the deceived, John 16:2-3:
“They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.“
For those who remain (Revelation 12:17), Matthew 5:44 counts in the end and with God’s help this will also succeed:
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
