Leo XIV now officially Pope – Proclamation of Peace & Unity

In his quasi-inaugural address as the now official pope, Leo XIV once again clarified the planned implementation of the Roman Catholic social teaching initiated by Leo XIII and advanced by Francis. The unification of the Roman Church as a glorious model for the unity of humanity. To this end, the new pontiff, as usual, employed his bag of rhetorical tricks.

Now officially Pope

After the inauguration ceremony, Pope Leo XVI is now officially Pope. The Church of Rome has thus essentially confirmed the results of the conclave guided by the “Holy Spirit.” During his first appearance on the balcony, the Pontiff proclaimed the desired peace on earth. Shortly thereafter, Leo explained his reasons for choosing his papal name.

He wanted to follow in the footsteps of Leo XIII, who published the famous encyclical “Rerum Novarum” in 1891. A social encyclical forged on the basis of Hellenistic natural law (Info).

Continuation of Rerum Novarum

In his first speech after his official inauguration on Sunday, May 18, 2025, Leo XIV spoke in St. Peter’s Square in Rome of his great desire for a united Church. This should be a “sign of communion,” the “leaven for a reconciled world.” Jesus entrusted his successor Peter with the mission of “love and unity,” the Pontiff stated. The Church Father Augustine (Leo is an Augustinian) also emphasized, Leo said, that the Church is composed of all those who live in harmony with their brothers and sisters and love their neighbors. The world is still marked by “too much discord, too many wounds caused by hatred, violence, prejudice, fear of otherness, and an economic paradigm.” The poorest are still marginalized by the “economic paradigm.” Here, the Church wants to be the leaven of unity, communion, and fraternity in the world. Therefore, the Church wants to say to the world with “humility and joy”: “Look to Christ! Draw closer to him! Accept his word, which enlightens and consoles! Listen to his offer of love and become his one family: In the one Christ, we are one.”

This path must be walked together, Leo said. Among ourselves, but also with our sister Christian churches, with those who “follow other religious paths,” and also with all women and men of “good will,” so that a new, peaceful world can be built.

“This is the hour of love,” Pope Leo XIV is said to have stated. The heart of the Gospel is the love of God, which makes us brothers and sisters. Leo XIII declared in Rerum Novarum, 21, that if such criteria prevail, all conflict would end and peace would return.

Nothing new from Rome

No new messages from Rome

Fraternity, united humanity, in love and peace. The Church of Rome as the great model. In principle, nothing new from Rome.

When Leo speaks of “sister churches,” he is not referring to the “renegade daughters” who called themselves Protestants, Lutherans, and Evangelicals, but rather to the numerous churches of the East (Orthodox). The Eastern Schism (in 1054) still needs to be overcome. The daughters who rebelled in 1517 have long since been reconciled. (Info).

It’s clear that Leo refers to his church as the “Body of Christ.” In one breath, he described the church as the world’s great example of unity and charity, calling us to turn our gaze to Christ. Where Leo gets the version that Jesus called Peter to a mission of “love and unity” remains a mystery. John 21:19 states:
“…And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.”

The problem: The Church of Rome traditionally does not call for people to follow Jesus directly, but rather to follow the Church first and foremost. Both possible paths, however, follow completely opposite directions.

Leo XIV made it clear once again that the current path would be continued: the unity of humanity under the primacy of the papacy. As expected, the first critical voices were already emerging from the “left wing” of this Church. Just as his predecessor, Francis, and his “breaks with tradition” had extensively served this area. With Leo XIV, a conservative returns, an Augustinian. However, with the same melodies of Leo XIII and Francis with his encyclicals Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti. The unification of the Church, a synthesis between the camps, is the true model, as is also intended for the “rest of humanity.”

Hypocrisy taken to the extreme

Hypocrites and liars
Familiar Roman rhetoric

Who the biggest troublemaker in this world is should be known and understood. It is the USA and its leadership within NATO. Revelation 13 makes it clear that the “Beast from the Earth” does not act on its own initiative, but rather carries out the plans and desires of the “Beast from the Sea.” It is also not difficult to recognize who this beast with the seven heads, ten horns, ten crowns on its horns, and the “names of blasphemy” on its heads represents. It is the papacy. (Info).

The greatest instigator of strife, wars, and slaughter in this world preaches “peace on earth.” Indeed, this diabolical character, demonstrated countless times, especially in the Middle Ages, also has a clear origin, Revelation 13:2:
…and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

All that’s needed is for people’s lives to be severely burdened by “various irregularities” for the hand stretched out from the yeast to be grasped with desire and longing by afflicted humanity. The promise of peace and security from false preachers is nothing new. Even in the Old Testament, these false apologists were denounced among the people of Israel as babblers and corrupters (Jeremiah 6:13-14; 8:10-11; Ezekiel 13:9-10).

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
