As if the world would end tomorrow or the day after. Pope Francis summoned a delegation to a climate summit in the Vatican. His references to the urgency of saving the climate are hardly surprising. Even less surprising is the spectacle of the increasingly obvious fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

Bigger and bigger steps
Things are progressing almost at a gallop. Pope Francis is putting pressure on climate protection. Influential politicians in the USA are particularly called upon to take immediate action.

The head of the Roman Catholic Church had a delegation of scientists, governors from the USA, other politicians and guests arrive at the Vatican for a joint meeting on May 16, 2024 (Source). The topic was “climate crisis”. The pontiff urged those present to finally take action to protect the climate, saying it was urgent:
“The destruction of the environment is an insult to God, a sin that is not only personal but also structural, a sin that places all people at great risk, especially the most vulnerable among us, and threatens to trigger intergenerational conflict.
Refusal to act quickly to protect the most vulnerable exposed to man-made climate change is a serious violation of human rights, as the European Court of Human Rights recently found.“
Immediate measures necessary
In his address, Pope Francis called for immediate measures from the delegation that appeared:
“First, it is necessary to take a universal approach and act quickly and decisively to bring about change and policy decisions.
The climate crisis requires a synergy of collaboration and global solidarity. These efforts must be symphonic and carried out harmoniously by all together.
We must act with urgency, with urgency! What is needed is compassion and determination because the stakes could not be higher. Go forward and may God bless you. I assure you of my prayers and ask you to pray for me.”
US governor on fire

The delegation of US governors also included the governor of the state of California, Gavin Newsom, a politician from the Democratic Party. On the same day of the meeting with the pontiff in Rome, his public relations office published a corresponding statement (Source).
Newsom seems to be on fire. He calls on world leaders to “protect democracy from the rise of extremism and in the face of climate deniers.” Newsom quickly declares fossil fuels and their associated corporations to be the enemy while using science as a benchmark.
“Fossil fuel companies have been deceiving us. They’ve known the science. They’ve denied the science. They’ve delayed advancement. But we have the capacity to address this issue at a global level and we all must bring the moral authority that is needed and that this time demands.”
Confession to the “Holy Father”

Given that the election campaign for the next president is already in full swing in the USA, Newsom shifts thematically into this field and, after throwing elbow punches at the Republican Donald Trump, finds his way back to Rome:
“And we think about climate, we think about greenhouse gas emissions. It’s the sum total of all those emissions that happen on a local basis, that is what we need to confront.
And so, again, with gratitude, with graciousness, with appreciation to His Holiness, to each and every one of you for your faith and devotion to this cause.“
The governor of California was born in 1967 and grew up in a Catholic home. It is already clear that the Democratic Party will pursue a policy that is visibly similar to the papacy, while the Republicans are up to mischief on the horse of the evangelical, whose “theology” also has its origins in Rome. Therefore: No matter who in the USA is pulled by the strings that come together in Rome.
The second beast takes a picture
Pope Francis is clearly putting pressure on people to put his “script for environmental action”, the encyclical Laudato Si’, which was published in 2015, into practice. And the prominent governor of the US state of California blows the horn carved by the pontiff. Shortly after taking office as US President, Joe Biden declared that he wanted to pursue a global policy that corresponds to Roman Catholic social teaching.
The things that are unfolding before all of our eyes are in fact the fluid fulfillments of biblical prophecy. Revelation 13:12 says:
“And he [the beast from the earth] exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.“

The beast from the earth implements the will of the beast whose wound was healed, the beast from the sea (Revelation 13:1-10), i.e. the papacy. The actions and recent, devout statements of important US politicians prove that the USA is the beast from the earth according to Revelation 13 and in its (original) nature also the bellwether of fallen Protestantism – the false prophet. Overall, with dragons, beasts and false prophets, it’s a cheap image of an unholy trio – Babylon.
It will be exciting, especially after the next election show in the USA and the installation of the new US president.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
