Representatives of the Roman Church try to defend their beliefs, which consist of predominantly pagan traditions, through all sorts of approaches. Biblical statements are often distorted, interpreted in an idiosyncratic manner and even falsified.

Drunk with your own fornication wine
The whore of Babylon brings unclean wine into the world to make the kings and rulers of the countries drunk. In this state, clear, rational thinking is no longer possible, let alone making the right decisions. However, the representatives and defenders of the Roman Catholic (in)faith seem to have drunk extensively of their own wine.
Approaches to supposed justifications
- Jesus Christ established the one true church, the Catholic Church
(“And I also say to you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church”, Matthew 16:18) - Jesus warned against the division of the church by Satan
(“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired you, to sift you as wheat;”, Luke 22:31) - God is the creator of all life, which begins in the womb
(“Before I formed you in the womb I saw you,” Jeremiah 1:5) - Marriage is an inseparable union between a man and a woman
(“And the two shall become one flesh.” So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What God has joined together, let man not separate!”, Mark 10:8-9) - The truth was transmitted from Jesus to his apostles and through his church
(“And he began with Moses and with all the prophets, and explained to them in all the scriptures the things which pertain to him.”, Luke 24:27) - The Holy Scripture is not open to one’s own personal interpretation
(“No prophecy in Scripture is a matter for one’s own interpretation,” 2 Peter 1:20)
A mix of truth & allegations
A mixed list, which partly corresponds to the gospel, partly contains its own (traditional) interpretation and partly even contains distorted verses.
Regarding item 1
In fact, Jesus Christ founded His church, Himself being the rock or cornerstone. Every believer is a stone of the (spiritual) temple. A tiresome claim from the Roman Church is that Peter should be the rock. It is clear from the basic Greek text that Simon Peter is the “petros” and that does not mean rock, but stone. The rock, which is Jesus Christ himself, is written in Greek as “petra”. It is therefore quite presumptuous of the Church to claim that it is the Church established by Jesus Christ, with Peter as the first Pope.
Regarding item 2
The division of the Church is anathema to the papacy. It sees itself as the “mystical body of Christ” and claims to be responsible for the unity of the church. It is Jesus Christ himself who ensures the unity of the church. Another presumption on the part of the Roman Church. However, the unity sought by the papacy does not correspond to the gospel and therefore does not correspond to the actual (spiritual) temple of Jesus Christ.
The quoted verse Luke 22:31, however, does not speak of division, but rather of sifting. A sorting out between the (good) wheat and the (bad) weeds. Satan’s efforts and influences make the fake Christian visible. A measure that is absolutely necessary for the purity of the true church of Jesus Christ. The weeds should be easy to identify, even without pulling them out before harvest. Wheat and tares grow together until the angels receive the sickle for the harvest. A peaceful unity for all of humanity (“world peace”) was never Jesus’ intention anyway. He brought not peace, but the sword (Matthew 10:34).
Regarding item 3
This can be left as is. God is indeed the Creator of all things. Life begins in the womb. In complete contrast to the claims that life only begins after birth. The unborn child in the womb is therefore a life and not a lumpy pile of cells.
Regarding item 4
Marriage was instituted by God in the Garden of Eden. Adam took Eve as his wife. After marriage, husband and wife become one flesh. For God, marital union is a very great good. The language also makes it clear that Jesus Christ is the bridegroom and the church is the bride. A promised marriage that is meant to last forever. The view of the Roman Church according to position 4 can therefore be agreed with.
Regarding item 5
This is where the alleged tradition of the Church of Rome begins. Oral traditions are the basis of their traditions. Difficult to prove, but also equally difficult to refute. It is simply postulated. In addition, the Church of Rome sees itself in aposticity, i.e. in the succession of the apostles, with the Pope as Peter’s direct successor. This was simply assumed and commanded to be believed, and enforced with psychological and physical violence.
Succession to the Roman Church is by no means the case. This fails because Peter was never the bishop of Rome and the claim that the apostles passed on the abilities they received from the Holy Spirit to their successors is simply out of thin air. An already extremely embarrassing presumption. The papacy, consisting of the Vatican and the Holy See, is not about the body of Jesus Christ, but about the would-be replacement body, i.e. the Antichrist (Info).
Regarding item 6
Here the church has to use its bag of tricks. Or rather, living out fraudulent ambitions. The verse quoted, that the prophecies of the Bible cannot and should not be interpreted by everyone, comes either from the mind of the clergy or from one of the Latin translations of the Bible based on the LXX. In fact, 2 Peter 1:20 says:
“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.“
That reads completely differently. The point is that no prophecy in the Bible comes from man’s imagination. However, reading and understanding this prophecy yourself is not only possible for everyone, but is also strongly recommended. Jesus Christ emphasized this specifically about the book of Revelation.
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 1:3)
With the commissioned letter to the community of Thyatira, Jesus Christ also addressed the Church of Rome:
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
