The political and military superpower of the United States and the most hypocritical papacy are drawing closer. A merger between church and state already appears within reach. The papal wish is now also being expressed by the “image maker” Donald Trump.

The USA and the Papacy Have Long Been Closer
The political and personal developments in the USA and in the mini-state of Vatican City directly prompt us to take stock of the progress made compared to the prophetic announcements. The fuss about the (again) incumbent 47th US President Donald Trump began recently with the election campaign. The July 13, 2024, attack on Donald Trump at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, garnered worldwide media attention. Trump survived the attack and sustained an injury to his right ear. Afterward, the theory of “divine protection of the chosen one” gained momentum. Trump feels called by God to make America great again.
The US President already demonstrated his affinity for Catholicism during his previous term as the 45th US President, as a “devout Christian” who leans toward Protestantism but does not identify with any denomination. With his renewed presidency, the unification of church and state is now at the top of his government’s agenda. This is actually an affront to the Founding Fathers of the USA, who enshrined a strict separation of church and state in the Constitution. After all, the first major wave of settlement in North America from ancient Europe consisted predominantly of Protestants seeking salvation from the tyranny and persecution of the Roman Catholic Church.
Ronald Reagan set the starting point

US President Ronald Reagan (in office from 1981 to 1989) laid the foundation for renewed close ties between the US and the Vatican. Reagan simply ignored the Protestant spirit of the US Constitution and established diplomatic relations with the mini-state in Rome. This was followed in June 2011 by a sister city agreement between Washington, D.C., and Rome. The Rome-Washington constellation created a “historic power couple,” according to then-Mayor of Washington, Vincent C. Gray. And, if you will, certainly viewed by the agitators as the “Axis of Good.”
Donald Trump Accelerates
Immediately after taking office, Trump established a “Faith Office” tasked with protecting Christianity and rigorously countering attacks against it. The next step followed on May 1, 2025. The US President signed an executive order establishing a Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty. Another major step toward the renewed fusion of church and state, even if this “only” looks like the special piety of a “Christian” person.
Trump questions separation of church and state
Donald Trump himself gave a clear indication of the desired merger during an event in the Rose Garden on the occasion of the National Day of Prayer. Regarding the topic of “separation of church and state,” Trump simply replied, “all right, let’s forget about that for one time.”
As it stands, this topic isn’t “ready for a storm” yet, but it’s clearly being heated up. Gradually, as always.
The USA has long since positioned itself.
With the USA, the world is dealing with the greatest military power. All economic and financial threads converge in the USA. This applies to international communications as well as intelligence activities. More than 750 military bases spread around the world speak for themselves. The largest of these is the air base in Ramstein, Germany. China, dubbed the “hostile, great dragon,” maintains just one overseas military base, in Djibouti, Africa. Russia maintains around 25 overseas bases, exclusively in the former Soviet satellite states.
The papal makers
There is no question as to who holds the geopolitical destiny in their hands. The big question, in fact, is who this guiding hand actually is. Fittingly, the new Pope Leo XIV was born in the US city of Chicago, as Archbishop James E. Quigley (October 15, 1854 – July 10, 1915) stated in the Chicago Daily Tribune, May 5, 1903:

“Within twenty years this country is going to rule the world. Kins and emperors will soon pass away, and the democracy of the United States will take their place. The west will dominate the country, and what I have seen of the western parochial schools has proved that the generation which follows us will be exclusively Catholics. When the United States rules the world the Catholic church will rule the world.“
A clear message. The history is well known. After 1903 came the First World War, the Second World War, the so-called Cold War, and ultimately its dissolution in the early 1990s. With the end of the Second World War, the US military bases abroad expanded enormously, and even further during the Iron Curtain era. With the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Soviet Union collapsed, but the US remained a military power and the head of NATO. The emphasis is therefore clear, even if the media has to look at it completely differently like a mantra and rain down their (dictated) view on the mankind.
US Pope Leo XIV wants peace
Pope Leo XIV emphasized “peace on earth” during his first appearance on the balcony as a new pontiff. It’s also a mantra-like phrase, and above all, somewhat “dishonest” for one, as the head of a notorious troublemaker, to publicly demand the opposite of the results of one’s own interventions.
This false peace was also known in the Old Testament (e.g., Ezekiel 13:10). Peace and security were preached by these wolves in sheep’s clothing. This also applies to the announcement of the final events, 1 Thessalonians 5:3:
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.“
The Bible explains the events

Here, the Bible’s prophecy is clear. The first beast (from the sea) in Revelation 13 is the papacy in its state-political role (Vatican City, Holy See). Its role as the church is reflected as the “harlot” in Revelation 17. The second beast (from the earth) in Revelation 13 is the USA and the Protestantism that has already visibly fallen within it (Info). The beast from the earth is also called the “False Prophet.” This is evident from the characteristics described in Revelation 13:11-18 and Revelation 19:20.
The United States will erect an “image” of the first beast, that is, an image of the papacy. In other words, the “theology,” geopolitical interests, and claims to power of the papacy will be put into practice by the superpower United States. (Info). This is especially true for the religious part. After all, the relatively well-known “mark of the beast” has something to do with worship (Info).
The Papacy’s Notorious Self-Conception
At this point, one must not forget the delusion of the Papacy, which sees itself not merely as “the body of Christ,” but as Christ’s representative on earth. Indeed, the Pope is the representative of God and God Himself. (Info). It is therefore in the nature of the papacy to claim absolute power over the spiritual and temporal (secular) world. After all, this institution is the deity on earth.
We can witness with open eyes how the prophecies in the Bible are being fulfilled. Step by step, but ever faster. With the combination of Donald Trump and Pope Leo XIV, the unification of church and state is already within reach. For the church, as in the dark Middle Ages, this is the opportunity, despite its self-portrayal of modest holiness, to put its adversary-driven agenda into practice through the strong arm of the state powers. In the Middle Ages, it was the kings, emperors, and princes; today it is the global power of the United States. This would already exhaust the list of fundamental differences.
Signs have long been described
Regarding the developments visible today, Ellen G. White’s foresight in the first decade of the 20th century:
“By the decree of enforcing the institution of the Papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation [USA] will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with Spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and Republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan, and that the end is near.” (Testimonies for the Church 5:451.)
How can you “overlook” this?
What more can one say? The signs of the times are as visible as a lighthouse in the dark night. The historical interventions and outrages of the Church of Rome should be known, if one considers them important at all. And one should, absolutely! The spirit and actions emanating from the “New World” are, after all, the spirit of the papacy, and this has been raging for some 1,500 years.

Keep your eyes open and looking in the right direction

To recognize these actually clear connections, one would “only” have to free oneself from the iron grip of the media, which directs all people’s gazes to various locations around the world, but always distracts from Rome. Unless, of course, one wants to pay homage to the Pope with the highest tones, despite one’s own secular foundation.
Time is literally running out. Once the papacy has completed its marriage with the United States, there are only tiny steps left until the “grand finale” begins. The so-called Third Angel’s Message will be heard with full force. (Info). It is up to man himself to choose either the authority of the papacy or the authority of God.
There is actually no time left, because the preparations of one’s own mind and heart must be in full swing by now:
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 7:1
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
