Establishing a replacement religion is easier than you might think. This is even possible in such a way that very few people realize that they belong to a religion. So the term “atheism” is on very shaky ground.

Religion is broader
When it comes to religion, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism usually come to mind. Baha’i, Gnosticism and ethnic beliefs come to mind for some. But religion itself can cover a much broader field.
Wikipedia defines religion as follows (Quelle):
Religion is a range of social-cultural systems, including designated behaviors and practices, morals, beliefs, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that generally relate humanity to supernatural, transcendental, and spiritual elements
Thus, a “preacher” or an advocate of a thesis that has been put forward, no matter how abstruse it may be, only needs to gain a certain number of followers in order to be able to speak of a religion here. They all have the same worldview, their beliefs are based on defined forces, and together they hold up a possibly declared identifier.
Church of Rome is a pioneer
Now the Roman Catholic Church has impressively demonstrated that one only needs to achieve enough power in representing their stubborn faith to bring their own doctrine to men, women and children, even with the use of (sometimes murderous) violence. Those of other faiths and those who rejected it were threatened with the harshest sanctions, including imprisonment, torture and death.
In general, for the “voluntary” following of the people, fear was an ace up their sleeve. In a society kept away from the truth, hell and purgatory are real driving forces for the spread of omnipresent fear. A paralyzing fear that makes people almost automatically adopt a submissive attitude.
This is written history and cannot be revised, even if there is a strong sense of “good will”. At best, one can only “remember it differently” from the written history.
Religious without knowing it
In this sense, every football (or soccer) club and its fan community already fulfill the practice of a religion. This is particularly the case with the big, international football clubs. The die-hard fans idolize their soccer heroes, let nothing bad come of the players, follow every match, put up posters of their idols, get into ecstasy with every victory or fall into a deeply depressed mood with lost matches and their distinguishing feature, the club flag hangs on the balcony and ridge. When fans from two competing clubs meet, it is not uncommon for them to end in physical altercations. One formally identifies with these clubs and even aligns one’s life with them.
“Idols” are not just role models
The term “idol” is used in the German language and in general usage as a “role model”. However, this has only recently been the case. This word only appeared in the 18th century and the vernacular displaced the previous original meaning of this word for “idolatry”.
You could replace football with handball, golf, Formula 1 and also climate protection. Above all, the field of the “climate crisis” is suspected of fulfilling the characteristics of a religion. This theory is encouraged in particular by the institutions that have great experience in the field of “theology”. Above all, it is the Roman Catholic Church and its representatives of the Protestant institutions.
The fear at the beginning and as an accompaniment
For the creation of such a substitute religion, fear could again be a powerful tool at the beginning. Theses in a continuous loop such as “we are the last generation that can still make a difference” and “we only have 10 years left” began more than 20 years ago. All of this accompanied by selective and local images of individual natural and weather events. Just as the incidence figures during the “pandemic” over the past 2 years could be heard, seen and read when we got up, distributed throughout the day and just before going to bed, so too the horror reports about any random effects of the raging climate change are expected to pour in . Not a single one of the catastrophes prophesied so far has come true. But no matter, the predictions follow in rapid succession. Now 2030 is the year “X” in which everything will go down the drain if “we” don’t immediately oppose this change with all our might.
With this, dogmas are already defined and this in connection with a climate doomsday thesis. These are not proven, they are model calculations. But you just have to believe in it.
Heralds and Preacher of a doctrine
Every religion needs preachers and proclaimers for the credible dissemination of defined dogmas. Of course, young people also fit into the parallel narrative of the “last generation”. At the forefront is Greta Thunberg, the once youthful main herald of the climate hypothesis. She delivered the “warning message” to bodies, assemblies and even the entire UN delegation.
The media gives strong support, but fails to question how a minor can make it to the lectern of the UN. Can everyone? Are there suitable registration forms for this? How does this work? Who or which organization has such a hot line that a young girl can make this appearance? Isn’t even a hot line necessary since the UN is part of your repertoire anyway? That doesn’t seem important, just the message of the climate gospel.
Herald is now an Honorary Doctor of Theology
Greta Thunberg promptly received an honorary doctorate in theology from the University of Helsinki for her “uncompromising and consistent commitment” to spreading the climate theses. There is no better way to describe the character of this huge campaign.
Chosen Preachers
Other preachers of these theses include Al Gore, Charles III. and in German-speaking countries also Eckart von Hirschhausen. This TV comedian and “doctor” who is supported by patrons is looking for proximity to church to bring the need for a “healthy earth” to humanity via the field of theology. And with the Evangelical Church, Hirschhausen has also found a very committed comrade-in-arms of these dogmas and all this “in the name of science”.
Churches become allies
Churches are also gladly given away for the gathering of so-called climate activists, including snacks, coffee and cake. As part of the Church Day 2023, “climate activist” Luisa Neubauer was also given a podium in the Evangelical Church of St. Sebald in Nuremberg to announce the explosive nature of the climate. She, too, impressively affirmed the true nature of this “movement” as a possible religion of modern times. “The decisive lever of the climate change is not in the technology, but where we organize social change together. The climate-moving civil society is the holy grail,” says Neubauer. She called on people to act together in the “fight against global warming”.
The “mother of all exclusive dogmas”
When it comes to environmental protection and nature conservation, the Church of Rome is not only at the forefront, but also the initiator and coordinator. For more than 1,200 years, this institution has not only maintained a very exclusive “belief” but has also defined that it must be believed by the people. Of course, this “privilege” cannot be taken away from this church. Finally, the Inquisition still exists today, only under the name “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith”. The Pope has always been the supreme proclaimer of dogmas, and this is still true today.
With the encyclical “Laudato si'” (2015), Pope Francis put the modern dogmas on paper. It is an “environment and nature conservation” encyclical. In the course of this, “10 Green Commandments“, which must be strictly observed. In 2020, Francis explained how this can be implemented in society with his encyclical “Fratelli Tutti”. Nature, climate and earth protection within a united “human family”.
What is essential, however, is that these encyclicals set the basis of faith. The Inquisition monitors compliance with these “guidelines of belief” and denounces any dissenters by any means necessary. For this purpose, the departments of the so-called fact checkers have been set up in cooperation with the media.
Summary
The “climate movement” accompanied by massive campaigns has the following characteristics:
-
There is a basis of belief
-
There are numerous symbols (Fridays for Future, Scientists for Future, etc.)
-
There are proclaimers of this belief
-
There is a believing community
-
There are defenders of this belief
-
There is denunciation and defamation of dissenters
-
There are awards in theology
-
There are theses about the “Holy Grail”
-
There are churches that “theologically” support these theses
Conclusion: All the characteristics of a religion are fully met by the “climate movement”. Every atheist should seriously question whether “atheism” applies to him at all and whether he is not unnoticedly attached to a religion from the Roman Catholic pens. Above all, he should be careful not to follow in the footsteps of the persecutors one day in the mistaken belief that he is doing something good.
Disasters will happen, however
The dilemma will be that there will actually be massive distortions in nature. Be it in the form of extreme storms, droughts, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or other tremors, it is predicted in the Bible and will also come true like every other fulfilled prophecy of the Bible. It may not really matter who caused the catastrophes, it will happen. The “initiator” in Rome also knows the prophecies. The official blame for these natural disasters is shifted to “climate change”. Anyone who still opposes this is by definition not only a “lateral thinker” but also a direct threat to the common good. The persecutions will begin, and with great public support.
