Ecumenism simulates a “Body of Christ” and justifies this with the call to form unity in one spirit and in one faith. A trap that most Protestant communities have already blindly fallen into.

Return of the rebelling daughters
Ecumenism (meaning: global, encompassing the world) not only aims to bring together the Catholic and Protestant churches, but also to unite all religions worldwide. In the true sense, the merger of the Protestant houses with the Church of Rome is not necessary at all. The Reformers never intended to secede from the Church of Rome, not even Martin Luther. Rather, they are “rebellious daughters” who, after a quarrel within the family, have to obey their mother again in a well-behaved and tame manner. This process has not yet been formally completed, but in fact it has already happened.

It’s all about the “little things” like the differently interpreted sacraments and, above all, the Lord’s Supper, which has not yet been celebrated together. The (once – Info) protesting churches are likely to abandon the latter anyway, since the mother church, and thus the authority, demands a Eucharist (Info). The calls for a common Eucharist have already been set apart (Info).
Church of Rome as chief shepherd
But a unification of religions, whatever that outcome may be, is not enough. In the self-image of the Roman Catholic Church, ecumenism is about the return of all “unfaithful daughters” and the bringing together of all other religions under its all-encompassing roof. The Church of Rome itself, as the mother organization, is not a member of this ecumenism in the sense of bringing it together. Here she acts as the highest authority, the senior overseer in an elevated position, the leading shepherd. And this would also identify the highest leader of the umbrella organization, the Pope.
Submission with “Charta Oecumenica”

The Roman Catholic Church has long since received the consent of all participants in an ecumenical institution. These primarily include the Lutheran, Evangelical and Protestant churches. In the course of ecumenism, for example, the German regional churches formed their own groups to unite the numerous splinter daughters, the Working Group of Christian Churches in Germany (ACK).
By joining the “Charta Oecumenica” in 2003, all ACK members automatically proclaimed their belief in “the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church”. However, this definition claims only the Roman Catholic Church, which means that all members of the ACK consider themselves to be the body of the Church of Rome. And this in turn sees itself as the body of Christ.
Ecumenism as the “Body of Christ”
The “Charta Oecumenica” uses the verses Ephesians 4:3-6 for this purpose:
“Strive to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the peace that binds you together. One body and one spirit, just as a common hope has been given to you through your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.“
However, the verse presented in the “Charta Oecumenica” has been changed because there is a “small but subtle” difference to the King James Version:
“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.“

The changed presentation of the biblical verse cannot be a variant of a translation of the same original text. Because there is a significant difference in the last words “in all” and “in you all”. While the authors of the “Charta Oecumenica” locate God in “everything”, Paul spoke of a God “in you”. However, “God in everything” has nothing to do with the gospel, but rather this is the pantheism of paganism.
A pagan philosophy from Ancient Egypt that was once popularized by Francis of Assisi within this Roman church and cleverly packaged as Christianity. The current pontiff took this “saint” as his model for his name. The current Pope’s ambitions are clearly dedicated to pantheism based on the encyclical “Laudato Si’“, including the new extension “Laudate Deum“. And the daughters who have returned are all “very enthusiastic”.
The Great Deception About the “Body of Christ”
In addition to the many deceptions, one big lie serves as the overarching deception. The Protestant churches willingly fell into this trap and clearly feel at home in this environment of increased sphere of influence in politics and society thanks to Rome.
“One body and one Spirit,” says Ephesians 4:3-6. The Church of Rome sees itself as the body of Christ. Converted and returned daughters are part of this church and therefore automatically also the body of Christ.
But it is precisely at this point that the big mistake lies. Because Paul does not describe a body of Christ made up of churches that can even spell the name “Jesus Christ” without spelling errors, but only the churches or communities that do God’s will. What is the will of God? This is keeping His (eternal) commandments, living according to His statutes and bearing the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The body of Christ follows God’s will

The prophet Elijah was given the great task by God to bring the people of Israel, who had completely fallen away with idolatry, back to the true Lord. Only conversion to God and His statutes can form the common, unified body. This happened on Mount Carmel and resulted in an unhappy end for all the idol priests (priests of Baal).
John also stated clearly that only returning to God can lead to the dignity of being declared righteous by Jesus Christ. John 1:12-13:
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.“
This “body” arising from ecumenism is nothing other than one of the many copies and counterfeits of God’s true order. This unity in the spirit of ecumenism cannot be the body of Christ, because idolatry, spiritualism (New Age, shamanism) and ignoring God’s commandments (especially the Fourth Commandment – Info) have long since found their way into the churches of ecumenism. Furthermore, how can Hinduism, Islam, Shamanism, Buddhism, united within ecumenism, represent the Body of Christ according to His statutes? The result of ecumenism is therefore only the “body of the adversary”.
