Pressure on the Gospel – God’s Word – is constantly increasing

Deutsch

The two witnesses in Revelation 11, clothed in sackcloth, are visibly under increasing pressure. All sorts of moral values are in the offing, but not the law of God and His prophets. The pressure on the gospel is steadily increasing.

Two witnesses already under severe pressure

The descriptions of Revelation, especially in chapter 11, are becoming increasingly tangible. The “great mystery” concerning the identity and characteristics of the “Two Witnesses” in chapter 11 is a mystery only to those who limit their understanding to this section of the Bible. It is obvious that the Two Witnesses are a representation of prophecy and the law (Info). They can also be (symbolically) personified as Elijah and Moses. However, those who wait for the two to appear in person in the future will have to have enormous patience, because that will not happen.

Prophecy and the Law of God, the foundation of the entire gospel, that is, the Word of God. This fundamentally important constellation is emphasized in numerous places.

Jesaja 8,20:
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Matthew 7:12:
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 11:13:
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Heart balloons
Commandments of love do not abolish God’s law

Even the “Love Law of Jesus,” which is misunderstood by much of Christianity as a replacement for the Ten Commandments, is clearly based on the Law and the Prophets, Matthew 22:37-40:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Clearly, this is not a replacement, but rather a different perspective on the law of God and His messages through His prophets. Furthermore, Jesus didn’t redefined this “commandment of love” off the cuff; rather, Jesus Christ quoted from the Old Testament, specifically from Leviticus 19:18 and Deuteronomy 6:5.

Gospel should go, no matter how

When the Two Witnesses are killed in Revelation 11, this means nothing other than the eradication of law and prophecy. This, at least, applies to humankind, for what power could possibly be capable of changing God’s decrees even by a single effort? This is what Daniel 7:25 says of the “little horn,” if one reads carefully, that this antichrist power does not actually change God’s laws and times, but rather strives to do so:

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Revelation 11 describes the events surrounding the French Revolution (1789 to 1799). The Bible was temporarily banned, as was religious practice in general. This actually lasted 3.5 years, as predicted in Daniel 11:9 (3.5 prophetic days – Info).

The French Revolution was a model of what would be repeated in antitype on a global scale. The abolition, the eradication, the prohibition of the Word of God as it is actually written. It is irrelevant whether a substitute religion takes over or religion itself is banned, because the sole purpose is to eradicate the true gospel from people’s minds. However, as Revelation 13 (Mark of the Beast – Info) describes, this is false worship. Clearly a religious aspect. Therefore, a false (substitute) religion is indeed in the offing.

Who will ultimately hold the scepter and demand false worship is beyond question (Papacy – Beast from the Sea, USA – Beast from the Earth). Since the ultimate goal is to persuade people to accept the mark of the beast more voluntarily than by force, even demanding it, one can certainly still speculate whether circumstances are currently being created so that people, in their distress and fear, will enthusiastically accept the “saving hand.”

After harassment comes “rescue”

First oppression, then “salvation.” After all, very few “Western Christian” people want Sharia as their legal system. Such a prospect doesn’t seem particularly inviting. On the one hand, this Islamic culture has long been a fixture in local Western metropolises, but on the other hand, efforts are still being made to significantly weaken Islamic emphases. The Iraq War, the “Arab Spring,” Syria, and Iran would be appropriate keywords.

The prospect of the extremely “impressive” legal code of the Talmud doesn’t exactly have a refreshing effect on “Christian-oriented” people. An official request from the “New Sanhedrin” to US President Donald Trump to ensure that the laws of Noah would apply worldwide in the future has already been made (Info). However, this set of laws would mean a death sentence for anyone found guilty of false theology. According to the Talmud, the designation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and His corresponding recognition and veneration already constitute idolatry.

Now, carefree zeitgeisters might say that these were merely the openly expressed wishes of petitioners. Indeed, former US President George W. Bush already had “warm thoughts” about the introduction of the so-called Noahide Commandments.

EU values according to the Talmud?

Anyone who believes that the European Union (EU) stands firmly on the foundation of Christianity, after all, a union of Western Christian countries, needs a refresher on reality. EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized in a speech at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev on June 14, 2022, that the “values of Europe” are based on the Talmud. A topic that was again heated up on social media in April 2025.

Different views of Jesus Christ

Islam does not recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God, because Allah has no son. Furthermore, according to the Quran, Jesus did not die on the cross. It only “appeared” that way to those present (Info). However, Jesus (Isaiah) is also treated as a very high-ranking prophet in the Quran. To learn about the importance of Jesus in the Talmud, it is best to let the Talmud itself speak for itself.

Babylonian Talmud, translated into German by Lazarus Goldschmidt (1929), following the first uncensored edition by Daniel Bomberg (1523).

Talmud - Gittin 57a

Gittin 57a:
Then he asked him: By what means will you be judged? He replied: As I have decreed for myself: every day my ashes will be collected, and after I am judged, they will be burned again and scattered on the seven seas. Then he made Balaam appear through necromancy and asked him who would be most honored in the next world. He replied: Israel, should one join them? He replied: Do not seek their peace and their best all your days. Then he asked him: By what means will you be judged? He replied: With boiling semen. Then he made Jesus appear through necromancy and asked him who would be most honored in the next world. He replied: Israel, should one join them? He replied: Seek their best and not their evil; whoever touches them touches the apple of his eye. Then he asked him: By what means will you be judged? He replied: With boiling excrement. The Master said: Whoever mocks the words of the wise will be judged with boiling excrement.

This interpretation of this passage is not a “misunderstood” statement, but rather a component of what a European-Israeli research group focused on. The study of “critical editions of the Latin Talmud,” which already in the 13th century led to such “polemical” statements in the Talmud being banned at the behest of Pope Gregory IX. Traditions about God’s Word

It was Jesus Christ himself who sharply criticized the human traditions that the Pharisees imposed on people under threat of punishment. Jesus denounced and condemned this practice—traditions that ignored or nullified the law of God.

Mark 7:6-8:
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

This is certainly true of the Roman Catholic Church. It places its traditions above the Word of God, and Scripture is to be interpreted solely in the light of the Catechism (Info).

Whatever the outcome of the eradication of the Two Witnesses, the Law and the Prophets, will be, the scenarios envisaged for humanity will lead them to gratefully accept the outstretched, presumably Christian-looking, and supposedly saving hand. It’s a case of jumping out of the frying pan into the fire, because the resulting apparent solution dictates human morals and rules that completely contradict the law of God. The path, likely based on humanism, looks like “law and order,” promising peace and unity. But:

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
