The degeneration of EV churches into carnival stalls is irreversible

The visible degeneration of the once Protestant churches is already irreversible. There is nothing to repair or save. “Those who continually make a fool of themselves will one day become a fool themselves,” as the saying goes. Once “Christian institutions”, they have now degenerated into self-absorbed, ideological showman’s stalls.

No longer contains anything from the origin

If a church institution uses the terms “Protestant” or “Evangelical”, then one could actually assume that in the former case this institution “protests” against something, i.e. proclaims something using “protestare” and stands up for it, and in the latter case that Gospel, i.e. the word of God about the “good news [of victory]”. In both cases, the institutions gathered under the Evangelical Churches in Germany (EKD) refer to the results of the Reformation by Martin Luther and his numerous comrades-in-arms.

Reformers were left with nothing but foreign feather headdresses

The first high-profile and, above all, lasting protest were the 95 theses posted by Martin Luther on the gate of the castle church in Wittenberg in 1517 against the Roman Catholic Church’s practice of selling indulgences. However, the first approaches to reform were initiated almost exactly 100 years earlier by John Hus (Jan Hus) from Bohemia. However, he suffered the fate of betrayal by Emperor Sigismund, who assured Jan Hus of safe conduct at the address to the council that had just been held in Constance. However, Sigismund did not keep his word and submitted to the desires of the Roman Church. Hus was accused of heresy and found guilty by the Bishop of Lodi, Cardinal Bishop of Ostia, Archbishop of Milan and the Bishop of Concordia. This was followed on July 6, 1415 in Konstanz by the murder of Jan Hus by burning at the stake.

Today you are roasting a goose. But in 100 years a swan will appear that you can neither cook nor fry“. These were the last words of Jan Hus. The swan was none other than Martin Luther and Elector Friedrich III “knew” on the night of October 31, 1517 what would happen that day (Info).

The reformers only received the attribute “Protestants” at a later date. In 1529, a group of imperial estates had had enough and protested at the Second Reichstag in Speyer against the “Edict of Worms” of 1521. This group held a “protest”, so they bore witness to their faith and stood up for it (vigorously).

The slow death of Protestantism

The protest was therefore an affirmation of the recognition of the Bible and its statements and indirectly the rejection of the countless traditions of the Church of Rome based on pure paganism. Martin Luther had no intention of founding his own church after seceding from Rome. However, things took their course in a dynamic manner. At the Council of Trent, the Roman Catholic Church stated or defined that the now independent “Protestant” churches were not a secession from the mother church, but an “internal rebellion”.

This church stuck to that until the “end”. The final end or final burial of the former official Protestantism in Germany took place on October 31, 2017. On the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, for the first time in the history of the Reformation, the “rebellious” churches and the Church of Rome celebrated a joint, no, not celebration, but rather a “mourning ceremony” for the “sin of separation”. A joint requiem for the legacy of the reformers (Info).

Having long since returned to their mother’s womb, the devout daughters are busy bringing the paganism that the reformers once risked their lives back into their homes. It was not yet enough to bring back the “Mother of God” who had been thrown out on its edge; it would be a bit too early at this point, but the spiritual, rather the spiritualism practiced in Rome and their (non-)understanding of the Gospel, are now closed in the former Protestant churches become a standard. Just slightly modified, because it should still retain an evangelical touch.

At the EKD churches today, everything is a topic and the focus is on people, reason, society, everyday political life and the entire spectrum of rainbow colors (without royal blue) of a colorful woke world. Just not the gospel message. But people still refer to a Jesus, talk about a “God”, or “G*d”, or a “goddess”, but try as much as possible to avoid bringing the good news to people in the words of God. The most fundamental task of a community that calls itself Christian is intentionally neglected. “As the Lord does, so does the child,” or “the apple does not fall far from the tree,” is the popular saying about a mother-daughter relationship.

As luck would have it, representatives of the mother church are not averse to “gendering” God, i.e. giving him an Asterix, and even welcome such innovative approaches (Source).

The gospel announced apostasy

A blatant apostasy of these churches, such as that announced in 2. Thessalonians 2:3 couldn’t confirm better:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

A whole group of reformers had long since found out who the “man of sin” actually was through their own study of the Bible, which was separate from the Catholic catechism (Info). The Church of Rome fought against their exposure with all its power and severity. The Counter-Reformation led by the Jesuits immediately gained momentum from 1540 onwards. One weapon that was used very successfully for this purpose was the new interpretation of biblical prophecies, unfortunately with continued success to this day (Info).

After all, a certain amount of panic is spreading in the management levels of this institution in view of the ongoing mass exodus of church members. In addition to slipping into insignificance, there is also the threat of a trickle-down stream of money from church taxes collected.

What does such a church, which still calls itself Protestant, actually offer its believers today? “Go out into this world, proclaim the Gospel to all peoples and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” became a varied program of “witty innovations”, actually only for a theater or a show booth at the fair suitable, but prepared for the desired Christian look. The echo from the ranks of the guarded sheep is inevitable.

Showman’s booth instead of a place of worship

“Devastating judgments”, accusations of ingratiation and questions about what all this has to do with God, according to the “digitally quite loud voices” on social media, such as the pastor of the Evangelical Church in Neuried, Anna Manon Schimmel, in her guest article in “SWR”. (Source). She couldn’t understand all the excitement.

Her motivation is not to win members for the church or to be cool in any way, she says, but because she enjoys celebrating a service in a pub as a pastor. Since she is a “Sunday person” anyway and she feels comfortable in the pubs, it was a good idea to “celebrate church services at the regulars’ table”. The pastor lists other “events” in the church as “Harry Potter sermons, Holy Rave and whiskey tasting” in the church.

The pastor shows understanding for the secular music played in church services. The “Christian” Taylor Swift also has “incredibly meaningful songs” that can be wonderfully combined with the message of God’s love. If a DJ plays in the church, life can be lived out through dancing, clapping and laughing. Then the pastor gets to the point: Pastors who only do what excites them in their job do not pander, but demonstrate the diverse passions of people and the church can be just as diverse.

It remains that way – ingratiation for satisfaction

It must be mentioned straight away that even virtually loud voices of complaint on social media were not defamed as “hate speech”. However, the Protestant clergy hit the nail on the head. The church offers itself – to avoid the word pandering – to fulfill people’s desires. They are looking for entertainment, “action”, variety, feelings, unique experiences, but not the word of God. Because there is hardly anyone left to explain to people what actually happened. 2. Timothy 4:3-4 says this plainly:
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Anyone who can pronounce the name “Jesus” with some degree of error is taught to be a ““child of God”, and this is also how it is taught as part of a “universal reconciliation”.

What would be the actual task of every pastor of a Christian church is written one verse before and one verse after, 2. Timothy 4:2;5:
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

It’s all about the monopoly

To power as a loyal daughter of Rome

Are there any traces of these requests still to be found in the churches? Probably only in very few cases. This does not seem to be intentional at all, because the fallen institution, in Europe as well as in the States (Info), is already practicing the role of the false prophet, a component of the final “Babylon” (Info), whose fate is clearly described in Revelation 18 and 19.

The intended goal is the renewed merger between church and state. The former Protestant churches as good daughters of the mother church of Rome, which was at the top of power. Such ambitions to get involved at the political round table can no longer be overlooked. Red-green ideologies are the order of the day and currently there is no peace when it comes to proclaiming which cross a “true Christian” has to set in the coming European Parliament election. The Protestant and Catholic churches do not take anything away from each other. A well-rehearsed team, but only for a predetermined time, after which “other times” begin:

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
