COP28 is another event with the stated intention of keeping this earth habitable through climate protection. In his distinguished absence, the Pope repeatedly made clear the true “theological” background with his longing for the dawn.

Message announced from a distance
On the advice of his doctors, Pope Francis did not want to personally attend the COP28 climate protection event in Dubai for health reasons. The pontiff sent the Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Cardinal Parolin to the Emirates in his place. One of around 70,000 participants from over 200 countries. As if there were no more video conferences, hopefully for climate protection reasons everyone arrived on foot, by bike, in a shared taxi, by carriage, or, following the example of climate prophet Thunberg, by sailboat.
At the start of this COP28 climate event, Cardinal Parolin gave the lecture planned by Pope Francis about his view of Mother Earth and the society that lives on it (Source).
Straight to the point
After expressing regret over his absence from COP28, Francis addressed the climate issue directly in his letter. “The destruction of creation” is an offense against God and this is “not just a personal but a structural sin that affects people,” are the haunting words. Climate change is a social problem of global proportions. Referring to the apostolic exhortation “Laudate Deum”, the Pope links these problems to the dignity of human life.
Pope is making a point
It can be “considered certain” that global warming is the cause of current climate change, the Pope said.
One can be sure that these findings, which are based on science and its model calculations, will be brought to bear. There is never any talk of validity anyway. But it is still surprising that global warming seems to have nothing to do with climate, because according to this vision one is the cause of the other.
Definition of climate:
“Climate in the strict sense is usually defined as the average weather, or more specifically as the statistical description in terms of average and variability of relevant quantities over a period of time ranging from months to thousands or millions of years. The classic period for averaging these variables is 30 years, as defined by the World Meteorological Organization. The relevant variables are mostly surface variables such as temperature, precipitation and wind. Climate in the broader sense is the state, including a statistical description, of the climate system.” (Source)
The climate therefore contains the parameter temperature. This also makes sense, because one speaks, for example, of a “tropical climate” when temperatures are consistently high and of a “continental climate” when there are large temperature fluctuations depending on the season.
Processing the instruction list
Since Catholic social teaching can be discovered in the scientific results and the measures required based on them, this part of the lecture can be saved by the Vatican Secretary of State. It is largely a treatise of the instructions addressed to politics and business in accordance with “Laudate Deum” (Info).
The “theological” aspect
What is interesting, however, is the “theological” aspect of the pontiff on the occasion of COP28. He calls for marking 2024 as a turning point. The year 2024 marks the 800th anniversary of the song “Sun Song” (Laudato Si’), written by Francis of Assisi. With this song, after a “night of struggle,” the monk wanted to “praise the Most High for those creatures that he could no longer see, but whom he felt to be brothers and sisters,” according to the Pope’s message to the assembled delegation.
The Pope calls for people to overcome divisions and unite forces. With God’s help, the night of wars and environmental destruction can be left behind “in order to turn our common future into the dawn of a new and radiant day”
Pope longs for the dawn
This dawn desired by the Pope is of course accompanied by the rising sun in the east. Now the Bible describes a morning star and a dawn in individual places. Jesus Christ is the true morning star (or day star), as the following verses prove:
2 Peter 1:19:
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:“
Revelation 2:27-28:
“And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star.“
Revelation 22:16:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.“
The Bible continues to provide information about the one who wanted to be like Jesus Christ and called himself the Morning Star and is also called the “Son of the Dawn.”
Isaiah 14:12:
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!“
That describes Catholicism
With Dawn the Pope clearly addresses the adversary of Jesus Christ, Satan, the former Lucifer (light bearer). The analogy used by the Pontiff is therefore very apt. For Catholicism is nothing other than the Mithraism of ancient paganism dressed in the robes of Christianity.
When the pontiff wishes for a “future in a bright dawn,” then this is simply a description of his fervent wish that God’s adversary, also described as the “phoenix from the ashes,” will finally rise to take control of this world . Because Revelation 13:4 beschreibt es:
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?“
Mithraism is easy to recognize
Mithras, “the god of the sun”, born from his mother in a rock cave and thus “from the rock”, and his equivalent, the daily resurrected Osiris from ancient Egypt, appear in the east on every new day and go into their chariot on the daily journey across the heavenly firmament. The day dedicated to Mithras is “dies solis”, i.e. Sunday, and the highest priest of the “Mithras cult” bears the title “Papa” and carries a shepherd’s crook.
Another peculiarity of this pagan cult is the categorical exclusion of women (celibacy, Info). The major holidays of Mithraism include the summer solstice (Easter time) and the winter solstice (Christmas time). Mithras, the “Sun God”, emerged from the rock on December 25th.
A colorful mix
Already in his speech on World Youth Day 2023, the Pope used analogies to a Uranus, a Gaea and Oceanos (Info). In Hellenistic mythology, Oceanus is the son of Uranus (father) and Gaea (mother). Uranus and Oceanos are actually siblings and therefore form a parallel to Osiris and Isis and their son Horus from ancient Egypt.
Global universal religion
The replacement religion, presented as “creation preservation” for believers and “climate protection” for atheists, has long been installed (Info).
These climate protection events with around 70,000 participants burning kerosene only serve the practical implementation of the global universal religion specified by the Vatican for common rebellion against God as the united human family (Info).
