A guide to the “right belief”
A self-described Catholic published a clear explanation on social media about the constellation and work of “God the Father, God the Son and Mary”. This should be understood as instructions or a hint as to how a seemingly hopeless case can still be redeemed. The believer must therefore avoid drastic mistakes. The author, who describes himself as a Catholic, lists the crimes one after the other through which the favor of God the Father and God the Son can be lost.
Loss of God the Father
Accordingly, God the Father condemns no one, since Jesus Christ is the judge of us all. God the Father has not forgotten the cruel treatment and final execution of Jesus Christ and will no longer forgive insults against his son. Therefore, every believer is called to treat the Savior Jesus Christ faithfully and reverently. “We” must not allow him to be “insulted, insulted and ridiculed.” Anyone who offends or offends Jesus will not be forgiven by the Father.
Contradiction in a single paragraph
Regardless of truth or error, there is clear contradiction in this statement. On the one hand, God the Father no longer condemns anyone, but the believer must be careful not to anger God the Father by reviling Jesus. God the Father will not forgive such an act. What consequence should this have if God the Father is not the judge of all of us? God the Father no longer forgives, but he does not judge.
What is worrying, but also somehow a trademark of the Roman Catholic Church, is the believer’s quasi-advocacy function for Jesus Christ. According to the statement, one should not allow any insults or insults against Jesus Christ. What should this look like? Take the law into your own hands, pronounce the judgment yourself, and punish every wrongdoer? Perhaps through persecution, expulsion and execution at the stake?
It should not be forgotten here that Jesus Christ is the advocate or advocate of sinful and (repentant) man and not man is the advocate of Jesus Christ. There is something very presumptuous about having to defend the “rights” of Jesus Christ, even on the basis of an executive authority. As if God couldn’t sort this out himself. Pointing out sin and wrongdoing, yes, but punishment, such as that of blaspheming Jesus Christ, is God’s business alone.
Catholic view
The statement that God will never forgive the blasphemer of Jesus is obviously a Roman Catholic view, but not the statement of the Gospel. Jesus Christ Himself said according to Mark 3:28-29:
“Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:“
So it’s clear. Even blasphemy against God the Father or Jesus Christ can be forgiven. However, with the Holy Spirit this would be different and this has a special quality (Info).
Jesus Christ does not hold grudges
It was Jesus Christ himself who stopped Saul on the way to Damascus and “strongly enlightened” him. At this point, Saul was a bitter persecutor of the early Christian communities. He even advocated the stoning of Stephen. Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear that He took His persecution of Christians personally, Acts 9:4:
“Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?“
Saul even had blood on his hands because of his responsibility. Saul became the (converted) Paul and one of the most important and, above all, most intelligent apostles of Jesus. There is not even a hint of unforgiven guilt.
Loss of God Son
This is where the “mother” comes into play. The Catholic warns that the father rejects the wrongdoer “for his son,” just as the son rejects the wrongdoer for “his mother” when the mother is despised or offended. Jesus loves his mother “above all” [bolded by the author], “much more than he loves you.”
The believer must note that Jesus, our Judge of all, “must” forgive the insults directed against him. But if the insults have exceeded a certain level, said the Catholic, then even the “mild Jesus” could no longer forgive them and would then be “forced” to condemn us. His “royal (divine!) dignity “forbids” [written in bold by the author] him from being able to be merciful again.
Jesus Christ under duress?
Already here it becomes clear that the Catholic sees the mother in a higher position than Jesus Christ. Furthermore, this explanation also consists of a single, partly self-contradictory jumble. Let the father reject the wicked for the son. This is despite the fact that God the Father does not have any judicial function, as the Catholic himself portrayed. The author marks the first high point of Catholicism with the statement that Jesus rejects the wrongdoer for the mother if insults were uttered against her.
It is unmistakable that Mother Mary is credited with the role of redeemer. In the sequence shown, it even has a higher priority than Jesus Christ. The explanation why Jesus Christ would be under any compulsion to condemn the wrongdoer is also puzzling. This strangeness also applies to the grace of Jesus Christ, which is within the human imagination. Even the crude statement that Jesus was “forbidden” from continuing to exercise grace because of His own dignity is refuted by the above-mentioned verse Mark 3:28-29.
Paul hinted at the “potential” of Jesus’ grace, Romans 5:20:
“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:“
Mary, the last hope
However, people do not need to despair if they have already lost the favor of God the Father and God the Son, said the self-described Catholic. “Without Jesus you have no one left to save you from hell,” said the author. “But thank God (!)” there is still a last lifeline, even if Jesus has already rejected people. May this last straw of hope be Mary.
If Jesus is no longer able or willing to wrest mercy, then his mother’s “intercession” would still remain. According to the author, that is the only thing that can save people. Therefore, people in this situation must turn to Mary. Jesus listens to the voice of his mother, much more than to the voices of people calling out.
If you place Mary at the center of your faith alongside Jesus, you can be sure of going to heaven. After all, there is also the saying: “A child of the Virgin Mary never gets lost!”
Per definitionem Roman Catholic
This Mary, crowned Our Lady, Our Lady, Holy Mother of Divine Grace, Queen of Heaven, Perpetual Virgin of Virgins and Mystical Rose, is and remains the hallmark of the Roman Catholic Church. Completely alien to the Gospel and therefore per se the definition of the Church of Rome. The continued paganism from antiquity and this also applies without reservation to this Catholic Mary (Info).
The author of this list is apparently not at all aware that this strange constellation and its connections, which are not described in the Gospel, represent actual blasphemy, or at least a gross rejection of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. This is even official, because according to Catholic teaching, Jesus did not have to die to open a path to salvation. A drop of blood, a tear would have been enough, according to the view of the “church doctor and saint” Alphonsus Liguori in his manual for the priesthood (Info).
Black becomes white
The typical reversal of the gospel, declaring this as “Christianity” and persecuting and killing anyone who did not want to follow this teaching. Criticism can be made at this point as long as this institution bases its dogmas on the gospel. Pope Francis has clearly demonstrated that this annoys the Roman Catholic Church. In 2019, the Pontiff explained the constant criticism against the Church of Rome as “friendship with the devil” (Source).
Be that as it may, because this statement can also be mentally reversed and thus corrected. The legitimate reason for this is demonstrably obvious (Info). The Pope’s sweet behavior can only smear the mouths of those who are not particularly concerned about the truth.
The “son of perdition” is used only twice in the Gospel. The first time for the traitor Judas, who betrayed Jesus Christ with a sweet kiss, and the second time for the notorious adversary of God, who has been wreaking havoc in the church of Rome for many centuries and who has more recently represented a demonstratively sweet theology to the outside world.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
John 17:12
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
