Bishop brings God’s plan of salvation closer to nature conservation

Nature and, of course, the climate play a central role for the “worried” Catholic Church. This goes so far that God’s plan of salvation is brought very close to creation and thus to the protection of nature.

Creation is a divine plan of salvation

The formation of faith, climate, earth and nature must be protected for the salvation of man, goes on undaunted. In the “Katechismuspodcast” series of the Catholic magazine “Die Tagespost” came in the 51. Consequence Auxiliary Bishop Dominikus Schwaderlapp from the Archdiocese of Cologne, Germany, to speak and explains that the creation narratives of the Bible are important because they represent the “basis of all divine plans of salvation”.

The sun – the favorite celestial body of the Catholic Church

According to the auxiliary bishop, the phrase “In the beginning God created heaven and earth” (Genesis 1:1) is so important because this “divine plan of salvation ” emphasized. It was the beginning of “the Christian history of salvation”. Creation is the first step in God’s covenant with his people. This also answers the basic question of human beings about their origin and goal.

According to Schwaderlapp, God wanted a being that he could love and that could love him. That is why God endowed man with “intellect, will and spirit”. God already knew in advance that the human being created by him would “abuse his freedom for love”. Creation also makes it clear that man did not make himself, but was only found.

One consequence of the careless and arbitrary handling of creation is the “climate crisis”. “People cannot change the composition of the air on their own without having serious consequences,” said the auxiliary bishop.

Totally panned out the real plan of salvation

With this, the auxiliary bishop messes up biblical statements with a (Catholic) agenda again. God knew for certain that man, specifically Adam and Eve, would fall. However, it is already very far-fetched to call creation itself a “divine plan of salvation”. The plan of salvation does not lie in creation, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus and the shedding of His blood in place of fallen man. The fall from grace, when a plan of salvation first became necessary, happened after the completion of creation, i.e. after the seventh day.

Quite apart from how the Catholic Church wants to reconcile the concrete fall of man and God’s real plan of salvation when it describes the theory of evolution as compatible with the story of creation. Everything pretty confused.

Transparent calculation à la “Laudato si’

Small sun discs as a sacrament – nature conservation will probably follow

The intention behind this “ideas” of the Catholic bishop, to bring the protection of creation close to God’s plan of salvation, is transparent. This corresponds to the requirements from “Laudato si’“, in which creation is placed higher than the creator. In the center, of course, the sun, as the “Laudato si'” film proves. It would be no wonder if climate protection and nature conservation were proclaimed as a sacrament by Rome. Of course to be celebrated on a Sunday . The papacy, the continuation of pagan Rome and the entire “package” of the pantheon, will thus refresh Paul’s statement to the Romans:

“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Romans 1:25
