Bedford-Strohm calls for political control and regulation of opinion

The former Bavarian regional bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm is wandering in the political arena with both feet. He calls for political control and regulation of opinions expressed as well as the protection of private companies from such rallies on social media. A true servant of Rome.

Bedford-Strohm calls for “opinion control”

Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, who resigned as Bavarian regional bishop in October 2023, has spoken out as the still active Central Committee Chairman of the World Council of Churches (WCC). As part of the event “Defend Democracy – 75 Years of the Basic Law”, the “systematic theologian”, who was already controversial during his time as a bishop, reported his concerns about what he believed to be an endangered democracy.

In the “Ulm House of Encounters” the former council chairman of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) was given the opportunity to share his current visions with the public (Source). In his opinion, the Internet and social media are now a major threat to democracy. Communication follows a “perverse logic,” said Bedford-Strohm.

The main danger lies in “hate messages and conspiracy theories”. According to the former EKD council chairman, these met with a great response. These circumstances are of great economic interest for private entrepreneurs in this field. Bedford-Strohm calls for regulation through political guidelines and control. In addition, program developers must be subject to ethics in the future.

The theologian took this opportunity to call on all Christians to speak out in favor of democracy. All people are equal, this is what the Christian view of humanity is based on. “Anyone who is pious must also be political,” said Bedford-Strohm. All Christians and churches must claim this for themselves. For this to happen, the churches would have to stop being concerned only with themselves.

Not everyone’s sense of humor

The ex-bishop of Bavaria, who now lives in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, apparently has a deep sense of humor – to avoid the word cynicism. What theology lacks as an explanation for his theses, he himself comes up with – adopting his own choice of words – a perverse logic in relation to the Basic Law. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law, he actually calls for the regulation and control of expression on the public internet, especially on social media. In this, however, the basic law he “celebrated” is clear and unambiguous. There are also relevant rulings by the Federal Constitutional Court on this matter. An opinion can therefore be expressed freely even if it contradicts the Basic Law. The Basic Law “expects” a certain level of loyalty, but cannot force consent. All covered by freedom of expression.

Also worthy of note is his demonstrated concern about the interest of private companies. They would therefore benefit from political interventions. Today, such a political-private-sector alliance is called a “public-private partnership.” One of the favorite names of the Bavarian Finance Minister Erwin Huber, who was in office in 2007 and 2008. At one time this was simply called “economic fascism.”

Rome’s handwriting is clear

Vatican – The center of hypocrisy

There are abysses opening up. Franz von Papen, a Knight of the Order of Malta and therefore obedient to the Pope, also Vice Chancellor in 1934 and later also the Pope’s Privy Chamberlain, a popular protégé of the Jesuit Order, declared on January 14, 1934:
The Third Reich is the first power which not only recognizes, but which puts into practice the high principles of the Papacy.” (“Behind The Dictator”, by Leo H. Lehmann, 1942, Vol. 2, 2020, page 35)

These are statements from the Church of Rome, in the “time environment” of Pope Pius XII. “Even” Wikipedia offers some insightful information on this under the keyword “clerical fascism”. (Source).

Devout Christians are political?

The “systematic theologian” Bedford-Strohm explains to Christianity that piety is expressed through engagement in politics. From which sulphurous sources the former EV bishop obtained his spiritual illuminations remains his secret. He cannot get this from the Bible. There is only one place in the New Testament where Jesus Christ comes into contact with politics. It is the image of the Roman Emperor on a coin. Jesus Christ said this according to Matthew 22:21 Folgendes:
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

Further politically tinged passages can be found in Romans 13:1-2:
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

“Heavy rumors” report that two of the disciples of Jesus Christ were definitely politically active. One of them was Simon, later called Peter. He was a member of the underground fighters against Roman rule, a so-called Zealot (Luke 6:15). Another such candidate was Judas Iscariot. He betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss. Simon Peter knew what was right and Judah’s inglorious end is known.

The desired return to a unity of church and state is unmistakable. In view of everyday politics, such norms such as the Basic Law or the Constitution appear to be purely cosmetic. Only brought into play when it appears useful to one’s own agenda, otherwise overruled by morals and ethics defined by extensive outrage.

Revelation describes the development

Revelation
Daniel & Revelation – Most important books for our time

The Bible predicts such a development. In Revelation, Chapter 11, one can read the trials and tribulations during the French Revolution. This relatively local event will be repeated on a global scale. In this chapter the “Beast from the bottomless pit” appears for the first time (Info). Official Christianity is in decline. This can be clearly seen, among other things, in the mass exodus of church members in Germany. Not to mention the theology of the former Protestant churches, which was contrary to the gospel. A confused mixture of key terms from the Bible and the woke rainbow colors of endless gender diversity.

In Revelation 17 it is predicted that the ten rulers “like kings” will rule together with the beast (from the bottomless pit) and after a very short time will finally give up their power to this beast (Info). However, this doesn’t last long and the “grand finale” won’t be long in coming. It is obvious that the transfer of power comes less from those in power than from the governed themselves.

All that is needed is a “top staff” whose skills invite others to be ashamed and who rule the country to its core. The ardent desire of the country’s residents for living conditions that are at least bearable again will continue to grow until scraps of cloth are dipped into the water on a widespread basis. Today one would be amazed at how much people, disgusted by the madness imposed on a minority, once wished for a “high moral authority”. Such a figure of “reason” as the pontiff in Rome has been presenting himself to the world for a long time.

Wisps without sustainability

Too much illumination overwhelms

One can only speculate as to whether Bedford-Strohm even understands which paths he is on or which fictitious goals he is emulating. That’s not sustainable. In any case, his loyalty to the script written in Rome, consciously or unconsciously, is obvious. His extremely controversial removal of his pectoral cross while visiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Jerusalem Wailing Wall, as well as the pitiful explanation he subsequently submitted for this, were already a revelation in October 2016 of his enormous distance from the Gospel.

In May 2023, the then acting regional bishop preached something about “more courage in Christianity” (Info). It should actually be clear which “god” Bedford Strom really serves. After all, a “true soldier” of the “Light Bearer” doesn’t hang a cross on his chest, but instead has an “X” on his forehead (Info). If so, then the “churchman” has chosen the wrong “God”, because the true God of the Bible has His own, completely different sign:

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Revelation 9:4
