All-religious God Pope Francis – No protest from Protestants

Franziskus-Grafitti

Deutsch

Pope Francis used the Far East trip with a stop in Singapore to spread his new gospel. Every religion is just a different language for the common God. Anyone can get to him. Protest can be heard from the ranks of the Catholic Church, but silence in the forest can be heard from the so-called Protestant institutions.

Vicarius Christi defines new gospel

The self-proclaimed personification of a “body of Christ” obviously rotates completely freely and creates new ways of diversity as it sees fit in order to reach God. Pope Francis caused a stir during his trip to the Far East at the Singapore stop. Less so among the general audience, who sit back satisfied and reassured, but even more so within the own ranks of the Roman Catholic Church. But this is very mixed.

The so-called “representative of Christ” explained during his three-day visit to the Far Eastern metropolis that all religions are a path to God. He explained to the young people present at the Catholic Junior College that religions are just “different languages to get to God, but God is God for everyone.” From this, the pontiff concluded in the same breath that God is for everyone and that we are all children of God (Source).

Indignation within the Catholic Church

For conservative Catholics, this statement from their “Holy Father” is like a wet rag being dragged forcefully through the face. The Catholic media tries to keep the ball low, portraying conservative Catholics as unsettled by fears that such rhetoric could undermine the teaching of Christ as the only Savior.

Pope Francis, however, appeared completely unperturbed by criticism of a similar statement during his visit to Kazakhstan. He even defended his position by complaining that fighting over which religion was more important or true or untrue would lead nowhere. “There is only one God, and each of us has a language to get to God. Some are sheikhs, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and they are different paths [to God],” was the pontiff’s response to the criticisms.

The outrage among conservative Catholics is entirely understandable. After all, in the Roman Catechism Jesus Christ is also considered the Savior, at least in the official wording. If there wasn’t this fairy tale about the “Mother of God” Mary, who not only represented a co-redemptrix, but whose head, including the crown attached, was given a higher position than the head of Jesus Christ. It is Catholic tradition to give Jesus Christ a higher position than Mary only when he was dead and hanging on the cross.

Remember the history

Old books
History has even more to offer

If you are not completely oblivious to history, you should remember that the Roman Church once generally handed over the authors of such statements, as are regularly made by the current pontiff, to the Inquisition for a “thorough investigation”. This often ended at the stake.

Pope Innocent III ensured the automation of handing over the execution to the state, and thus washing one’s own hands in innocence, in 1199 with his decree “Vergentis in senium”. In it, he stated that heresy was tantamount to lèse-majesté. This automatically addressed the kings and emperors and called them to action.

Not to forget that one of the “holiest of saints”, Thomas Aquinas and Augustine of Hippo explicitly called for the death penalty for heresy. Today, euphemistically stated as “they did not oppose the death penalty.” However, the Church of Rome did not consider deviation from the written Word of God as heresy, but rather deviation from its own teachings, according to tradition.

With his statement, Cardinal Goh indirectly recalled the history of the Church of Rome in the “Dark Ages”. “In all religions, there will always be extremists who threaten the harmonious relationships between believers of different faiths,” said Goh. Preventively, people with “other beliefs”, e.g. those of the gospel, are brought close to extremists and dangerous people. It would be miraculous if the Roman Church did not follow its tradition at this point by introducing appropriate countermeasures.

The usual obedience of Protestants

Where did one assume the greatest protest against such heretical statements by a Roman pontiff? Of course, from the ranks of the Protestant churches. But far from it. You just report about it, briefly, concisely and cautiously. This also applies to the mouthpiece “evangelisch.de” from the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). A “report” from the Evangelical Press Service was used. “All religions are a way to get to God” and “God is there for everyone” is the “theological” part of the stay in Singapore (Source).

Everything as expected

But the once Protestant churches behave exactly as one would expect from obedient daughters of a mother who never sees herself as a widow. One sings her song, never contradicts her, and practices homage and praise in her honor (Info). Revelation 17 describes this modern-day Jezebell as the “mother of all harlots.” Consequently, the daughters (Info).

Surprising? No, not really. In addition to Daniel 7 and 8 and Revelation 11, Revelation 17 also clearly states who actually holds the scepter here. It is not the “woman” (whore), but it is the beast from the abyss. This animal supports the church (whore) as a means to an end, and only as long as it appears useful. The “flying change” to take over the regency is likely to take place soon (Info).

What the Pope Forgot – To Remember

Jesus Christ died on the cross and gave His blood for what? For Pope Francis, this is obviously just an anecdote of an unfavorable period in the life of the itinerant preacher from Nazareth, who was born in Bethlehem.
John 14:6:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 John 2:1:
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 4:14:
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
