I believe in God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
I believe in Jesus Christ, who became man and died for the sins of the world. Through his death on the cross, he reconciled us to God and gave us eternal life. He is risen and serves as our Advocate with the Father. As Savior and Judge of the world, He will soon return to set up His eternal kingdom.
I confess Jesus Christ as my Creator and Redeemer. By His grace alone am I justified and sanctified before God. By believing in him I can be sure of my salvation. Because He loves me, He forgives all my sins and gives me the strength to live a new life.
Out of gratitude and love to God, I want to live my life in accordance with His will as taught in the Bible. As a special gift, Jesus gave the Sabbath set up, which I want to sanctify after His example. With God’s help, I want to respect body and soul as temples of the Holy Spirit and live responsibly according to divine instructions.
As a disciple of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, I am ready to serve in the church. I want to use my time and skills for God and my fellow human beings and also honor God with tithes and gifts and promote His work. As an ambassador of Jesus, I want to testify to my faith in word and deed.
God called me to follow him and adopted me as his child. Through the baptism I want to become part of the body of Jesus Christ . It is my desire to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
