No law – no sin

Cain hit Abel

Commandments of Purity

The earth, its vegetation and climatic conditions, were fundamentally changed with the Flood. Meat food was not an issue at all before the Flood. However, this did not fundamentally choose the choice of animals, but their use or preparation.

These relationships clearly show the following. People had had a law long ago before Sinai.

Sodom and Gomorrha

The region around Sodom and Gomorrha was equated with God to the ground. Why? Because the people there were evil. Only the nephew of Abraham, Lot, and his wife and two daughters were saved. The people in the region of both metropolises have long since left any morality. Whose moral requirements? That of God, and thus also His laws.

Joseph did not want to violate God’s law

Joseph was sold to Egypt by his brothers. He was a servant in an Egyptian household. That was long before the 10 Commandments on the mountain Sinai. The hostin tried to seduce Joseph. His answer (Genesis 39:9):
“…how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?“
