The once remaining people of God, the people who remained faithful to the gospel and the statutes of the Lord, will have to endure massive persecution. What the reprisals look like and what measures could be helpful.

What the persecution might look like
Anyone who knows the Gospel and the prophecies it contains, and who interprets them unbiasedly and especially not in a “contemporary” way, knows exactly that there will one day be persecution of the remnant of God’s people. This is not about general Christianity, which is now the most persecuted religion in the world, but about the people who have not joined ecumenism with the Roman Catholic Church as the mother organization and who have remained faithful to the Gospel without compromise (Info). This will only be the case when the different religions have come together under the “Vatican umbrella organization” and the measures declared necessary to “save the earth and humanity” have been introduced (Info).
Dress rehearsal was already underway
The years 2020 to 2022 have clearly shown the scope of this final pursuit and the methodology it will be based on. With a simple stroke of the pen, previously enforced laws (“fundamental rights”) were canceled and the exceptions that had been quickly introduced were activated using an ad hoc procedure. At the same time, in parallel with the increasingly visible ineffectiveness of these coercive measures, hard work was being done to create an enemy image. In the meantime, the once loudest voices have fallen silent in iron silence. But this could just be the famous calm before the big storm. At least it appears that the “dress rehearsal by-product” was successfully completed.
The measures taken in the final reenactment of the “unruly troublemakers” will probably be the same. Repeatedly, with great support from the “completely convinced” population.
A look ahead to persecutions

Conrad Vine from Great Britain has a great deal of expertise based on decades of experience in the missionary field, especially in extremely problematic regions of the world that are strongly opposed to Christianity. Vine is currently the president of Adventist Frontier Missions. In a short video (following this article), the pastor explains what people who have remained faithful to the gospel can expect when the reins are tightened for the “the common good”, according to the rules from Rome (Info).
Anticipated reprisals
Those who remain faithful to God can expect the following reprisals:
-
The civil and religious freedoms are being revoked. Constitutions will be suspended due to emergency laws
-
The closure of all church buildings, colleges, conferences, unions, departments and other Adventist institutions
-
Evangelism and the proclamation of the eternal gospel are declared hate speech
-
Gospel faithful churches are being censored on social media and erased from public culture
-
The ability to buy, sell, bank and travel will be suspended forever
-
Savings, pensions, investments and accounts will all be frozen and may never be used again
-
Mortgages or rents can no longer be paid. Evictions from homes. Property will be confiscated
-
People faithful to God are demonized across the political spectrum and in all media (as Jesus said, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.“, Mark 13:13).
-
Persecutions by mobs in the streets and by state bureaucrats drunk on the absolute powers granted by emergency declarations
-
Track and trace apps will track all phones. Every movement and every spoken word will be recorded by the smart devices.
-
The children are forcibly removed by child protection services and placed in “protective custody” as part of the foster care system
A political pretext is likely to be used for these measures against the people of God. Many of the reprisals described are not new, but were or still are the rule, especially in communist countries
Necessary preparationg

The Bible predicts it and the measures in 2020 to 2022 showed in great detail how these means will be implemented. All that remains for those once affected is mental and spiritual preparation. Accumulating food (“preppering”) is pointless because it can hardly be carried around in bags and backpacks. The total economic exclusion and the amount expected to be raised will not make it possible to stay in the usual place.
It is a fatal mistake if, in the worst case scenario, you still live in a city and remain relatively unconcerned and do not even expect persecution to begin. Once the thought occurs, “I never thought there would be persecution here,” it may already be too late.
The following personal attitudes can be very helpful for inner preparation:
-
Intellectually I know that I will experience persecution
-
Spiritually I am ready for the persecution
-
In terms of pastoral care, I have prepared my community and my family for the time when I am no longer there
Mental preparatory work
Once this situation has occurred, it also means the separation of tares and wheat, i.e. the visible difference between true Christians and pseudo-Christians. Anyone who does not have both feet firmly planted in the foundation of the gospel and true faith will stumble and submit to measures for the “common good”. (“Mark of the Beast” – Info). Ultimately it means having to leave all your possessions, all your money, all your savings behind. Anyone who clings to it has chosen their idol.
Access to a Bible is likely to be difficult or even impossible. It helps here 2. Corinthians 1:3-4to internalize:
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.“
It doesn’t hurt at all to be able to remember Psalm 91 in this situation.
The answer of the persecuted

How should the people who were once persecuted by the state, by the large churches and by the angry crowds behave? The question of how the persecuted should react to their persecutors is answered with a single “double verse” from the Bible. Jesus Christ said in Luke 6:27-28:
“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.“
There is nothing more to “advise” at this point. The follower of Jesus Christ not only talks about it, but also behaves like his example. Jesus remained silent about the fictitious accusations made against Him, like a lamb led to the slaughter. This is not without reason – Info.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
