Twelve

Deutsch

The number twelve has a special meaning. Conceived and interpreted differently. The “12” also exists in many different ways in the Bible.

T

here are numerous aspects associated with the number twelve. As far as the Bible is concerned, the number twelve is inextricably linked to the number of apostles who followed Jesus Christ and the number of the tribes of Israel. Further connections concern the result “three times four”, which is intended to express the Trinity of God and the four cardinal directions (entire world). A more traditional interpretation. In other cultures and religions, the twelve appears particularly in the signs of the zodiac (esotericism). Twelve earth circle signs were also defined.
