4 Gospels – The focuses set by Jesus Christ

Statistik

Deutsch

After His baptism, Jesus Christ was active in proclaiming the truth through the gospel for 3.5 years. With His statements, speeches, sermons and admonitions, the Savior definitely set priorities that can no longer be found in the ecumenical churches.

Evaluation of the statements of Jesus Christ

NSober, “emotionless” statistics can be very meaningful. This is especially true when there is actually a big gap between theory and practice, but this gap is quickly overlooked due to nice words and formulations.
Jesus Christ is undoubtedly the center of all words and actions in the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. One of His most important statements can be found in John 14:6:
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

A statement that seems like a red flag in the field of ecumenism. This clear statement is now completely ignored in its entirety by all churches and faith communities affiliated with ecumenism.

This fact is of essential importance in John 14:6. Jesus Christ is not only at the center of the Gospels as an actor, but He stands at the absolute, indispensable center of the entire path of salvation for humanity lost without Him. A monopoly position of Jesus Christ that must have no place in ecumenism and is even being fought against (Info).

Jesus Christ set priorities

It is all the more interesting and, above all, more important to know what priorities Jesus Christ actually represented in His speeches, statements and actions. It becomes particularly interesting when you compare these priorities set by Jesus Christ with the respective weightings of the churches.

Markus Voss is one of the few studied theologians who do not exclusively treat the Gospel in a “scientific, Bible-critical manner” (Info), but also believe in the written Word of God. While the majority of the “study squad” were completely stripped of their faith (Info), which they may have had before their studies, Voss publicly confesses to his lived faith according to the gospel.

Evaluation of the four gospels

statistics
Sober statistics can be revealing

Voss analyzed the four gospels with regard to the topics dealt with by Jesus Christ and presented the results in his video contribution (Source). The theologian evaluated Jesus’ statements in the total of 3,779 verses of the four Gospels.
A number that can, however, vary depending on the Bible edition. Because “modern” Bible editions contain around 3,600 changes compared to the original translations. Of these, 970 words were additions and almost 2,900 deleted words. The number of reductions (forgeries!) includes approximately two letters from Apostle Peter (Info).

The identified focal points in the Gospels

The following is Markus Voss’s evaluation of the topics dealt with by Jesus Christ in his speeches, addresses, sermons and warnings.

The main themes of Jesus Christ

It is not difficult to see that the “top 3” themes of Jesus Christ are the nature of God, the time of the end (eschatology) and the redemption of man (soteriology). Prophecy is also strongly represented, with a share of almost 10 percent. When it comes to the treatment of following Jesus Christ (5.7%), the churches can also boast a relatively high weighting. However, when viewed in the appropriate context, this “devotion” taught by the churches often turns out to be just a guide to a “fulfilled life” according to the sayings of a tear-down calendar.

“Love” is the top topic of the churches

Queer love
The totally distorted love of the gospel

The top topic of the (ecumenical) churches, which stands by an enormous margin, is the “love” of God. A circumstance that Jesus Christ only gave a share of 2.5 percent in His speeches. But that only applies at first glance.

Jesus Christ’s proportionate treatment of the commandments of only 4 percent also appears to be relatively small. But even a half share would not diminish the emphasis on the valid 10 commandments according to Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5.

In fact, the commandments of God make up the lion’s share of the nature of God described by Jesus Christ (27.1%). The love of God can also be found in this, because the so-called “love commandments of Jesus” do not abolish the 10 commandments, but rather illuminate the given law in the character, i.e. the essence of God (Info).

Love and commandments describe God’s nature

God is love. His love is reflected in His being. And His Law (10 Commandments) is a reflection of His nature. The commandment of God is therefore anything but underrepresented in the statements of Jesus Christ. Rather, the “love of God” is presented by the churches as something completely different than it actually is (Info).

But now the (ecumenical) churches have declared the law invalid. It was crucified with Jesus Christ (Info). At the same time, the churches also redefined sin. For where the law no longer prevailed, there no longer existed sin. Therefore, according to the “new gospel” of ecumenism, sin is no longer a violation of the law, but rather a turning away from the love of God (Info).

Another message from the churches affiliated to ecumenism is the irrelevance of prophecies. Important biblical predictions for our time can be found primarily in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation. Even Jesus Christ called for reading the book of Daniel (Matthew 24). But the churches and also liberal theologians vacillate back and forth between theses about “obsolete theories” and “inventions by ancient authors”.

Holy Scriptures
Only the Bible (textus receptus) shows the gospel of God

The statistics make it clear that the topics most addressed by Jesus Christ are either barely or not addressed at all by today’s churches, or are placed in the context of a new “gospel” in the spirit of the human family and the preservation of creation.
Viewed from the other side: The true gospel, as it is written, is now being denied and with it the only true and secure way of salvation for man through Jesus Christ alone.

Instead, a universal religion prepared for ecumenism is being established, which, in addition to preventing the salvation of people, also aims at the direct worship of the direct adversary of Jesus Christ (Info).

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
