What is the truth? In the times of “alternative facts”, the abundance of so-called philosophers and the other “wisdoms of life” of Hellenistic poets and thinkers, this question is pretty difficult. However, this only applies at first glance. Whoever seeks the truth will find it in the Holy Scriptures.

The truth is always under attack

Lies-Truth

If you look for the truth, you will find it

Throughout human history, truth has always been one of the first victims when it comes to gaining personal advantage to the detriment of one’s neighbor. Even the well-known saying “in war the truth dies first” is only half the truth, because it “died” long before the first shot was fired.

Especially in today’s time of the so-called “alternative facts”, which are scattered around the world by the media using anonymous and nameless so-called fact checkers and by so-called science fed by narrative, it is all the more necessary to stick to the original, only, to remember and hold fast to the unchanging truth. The Bible gives unequivocal and clear information about the truth. The truth stands up in the face of the strongest headwinds, whether the storm is unleashed in Washington, Brussels or Moscow. God knows how to keep the truth. Even the supposed truths of the self-assuming “moral authority” of the pontiff, which are mostly euphonious from Rome, are not able to overturn the “triune” truth.

In this reality even those in the past of the Rom. Catholic Church carried out persecutions and (contract) murders of countless millions of people. While the truth describes reality and is planted in people’s hearts and minds by the Holy Spirit, if they allow it, the Roman henchman of the “Red Dragon” has to rely on coercion, violence and instilling fear to enforce his fictions.

The Bible describes 3 truths

Whoever seeks the truth will find it in several places in the Holy Scriptures. Clearly described in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. The 3 truths are the word of God, the laws or commandments and Jesus Christ. Here are some verses that describe the Three Truths:

The Law – Psalms 119:86:
“All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.”

The Law – Psalms 119:142:
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”

The Law – Psalms 19:9:
“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.”

The Law – Psalms 111:7:
“The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.”

The Law – Psalms 119:151:
“Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.”

The Law and the Word – Psalms 119:160:
“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”

The Word – Proverbs 8:7:
“For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.”

The Word – 2. Samuel 7:28:
“And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:”

Jesus Christ – John 1:17:
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”

Jesus Christ – John 14:6:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The Word – John 17:17:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

In John 1:14 the conclusiveness of the truth is also evident:
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
The word (= truth) became man (Jesus Christ, = truth) and Jesus obeyed all the commandments (= truth). In doing so, He proved, among other things, that man is quite capable of keeping the 10 Commandments despite all temptations, because this truth is still fully valid.

One of the most common attempts to suppress the truth (reality) is the changing or shortening of verses in modern interpretations that are mistakenly called the Bible (God’s Word). A popular example in German versions is Matthew 4:4. As a rule, the second half of the verse simply falls away:
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.!” Eliminating the truth is a prerequisite for misleading and enslaving people, but: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32). Those who love the truth will also find it.

A significant truth is described in Revelation chapter 14. The so-called “3-Angels Messages” admonishes and warns mankind in a clear language.
