The spreading poverty in Germany received a huge boost during the “Corona years” due to the numerous regulations of the responsible politicians. Where there is poverty, there is also a lack of nutrition. The so-called food poverty no longer only affects a small, negligible minority.

Food poverty just around the corner
When the talk is of nutritional poverty, then such circumstances play out in the mind in the so-called third world. Malnourished children in a poverty-stricken environment. This picture does not fit at all in regions that are considered developed industrial countries. But food poverty has long been present in supposedly rich countries, including Germany.
Just “at risk” but not really poor?
Published data on poverty in the Federal Republic are almost always accompanied by phrases such as “risk of poverty”, especially when this concerns children. As long as it’s just a “danger”, it’s close but everything’s fine, so the suggestion. But if children are “at risk of poverty”, then this automatically affects the parents as well. So why children are highlighted as “at risk of poverty” without emphasizing the whole household therefore remains a mystery. Poverty is reflected in nutrition and at this point the responsible politicians have done a great job with their dictated measures because of the corona disease declared as a pandemic.
Rich Germany – Wealthy in poverty
According to the report “Policy for a more sustainable diet” prepared by the Scientific Advisory Council for Agricultural Policy, Nutrition and Consumer Health Protection (WBAE) and presented on March 21, 2023, there is already a significant level of food poverty in Germany”.
The report is based on the narrative of a pandemic, but regardless of that, the circumstances resulted exclusively from the regulations and dictates of politics. According to the report, around three million people in Germany are already affected by food poverty. That is 3.5 percent of the total population. Food poverty occurs when people are unable to afford a healthy diet due to a lack of financial resources. There is simply no money for a reasonable meal.
Food poverty got worse during Corona
The report places a special focus on the development of food poverty in the course of the series of corona measures prescribed. Such ordinances also provided for the closure of schools and kindergartens. As a result, numerous children have been denied access to the communal lunch service. The closures also affected aid programs such as the “Tafel” (in Germany, an aid program for food to poor people.). In their catalog of measures, the responsible politicians have not taken any account of the special needs of “people at risk of poverty”. The 2021 poverty report by the “Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband” (a German aid organization) – “Poverty in the Pandemic” – came to the same conclusion. Those responsible in the federal and state governments took considerable financial resources into their own hands to fight the declared pandemic, but showed little consideration for the “poverty-risk” groups in order to alleviate their special difficulties within the prescribed circumstances.
Federal government ignores the problem
Based on the study results, the report recommends numerous measures to be better prepared in the event of another crisis of this type. This includes in particular the financial transfer (“citizen’s allowance”) instead of the distribution of food vouchers or the provision of hot meals. Although the support program in Germany is to be welcomed, the basic income is too low. The beneficiary of the basic security is entitled to a share of only 174 euros per month for food. An amount of just 5.80 euros per day. The norm provider assumes that nutrition takes place exclusively within one’s own four walls. Meals outside the home are considered “not relevant to standard requirements”. The recipient of a basic security is not entitled to such a benefit. The WBAE calls for appropriate improvements at these points. The Federal Government has so far ignored the previous calls to change the methodology for determining the nutritional needs of the affected people.
Poverty is a program
The continued impoverishment of the people is part of an “international social adjustment”. The model for this is provided by the philosophy of Catholic social doctrine, which is based on natural law. According to the thesis, all natural and also produced goods on earth are equally entitled to every human being. A person in need has the right to take what is “desired” from the possessor, whether he wants it or not. The rich are like the thief of the poor. The buzzword “social justice” thus also includes the relationship between rich and poor countries and their inhabitants.
The focus on citizen income merely reflects the chosen path to a universal income, ultimately financed by the globally represented companies (Council for Inclusive Capitalism). The associations, be it the “Paritätische” or the unions, only work on the symptoms and not on the cause. With their demands, they prove – consciously or unconsciously – to be the henchmen of the initiators.
The export of capital out of Germany, which has been going on for many decades and has been carried out via the trade balance surpluses, which have always been highly acclaimed by the media, has already caused a comprehensive withdrawal of money from the people who create value. Today’s retirees, who once worked for more than forty years, know exactly what it’s all about. Now, due to the ongoing transformation of the company, the final cupping is imminent, while at the same time increasing the dependency on future “patrons”. In order for this “saving benefactor” to be gratefully accepted, it is very helpful to equip the countries with governments whose ways of thinking and acting are reminiscent of scenes in a preschool sandpit.
If a person’s car, oil or gas heating is taken away, this can in many cases be compensated for by alternatives. In other cases, the limit has already been reached at this point. But the general path to greater dependency is unmistakable. But when it comes to food (and housing), most people will stand tall without hesitation, and that’s the direction it’s headed.
